Forgive me for dumb question but I am on wrong side of the world. Carlos was named in the team on Thursday but i can't see him on the stats. What happened?

According to Ch 10 he is still suffering from the knee in the back Fev gave him a couple of games ago, and his back stiffened up on the flight back from WA.

They said it was an injury he had been carrying since the Essendon* game. The knee in the back Fevola gave him was the incident in question.

Apparantly he didnt pull up after the flight back from Perth

Thanks guys. i saw the Fev knee in the back - not pretty. Bit of a bummer as he was playing OK. Let's hope Carlos gets back on deck.

Out of curiosity; do the boys fly cattle class on a normal flight? If so that is asking for trouble as I take a cuppla days to pull up after 4 hours in cattle.

The players should definitely travel Business Class every time. It might cost $50-$80k per year - money well spent.

Most domestic flights wouldn't have enough biz class seating for a football team. Besides, sitting down in a seat is still sitting down in a seat... a little extra recline and a glass of orange juice prior to takeoff wouldn't make that much difference.

What happened to Pratt Air

true about capacity - but if you had BC to yourself you'd be able to do more stretching exercises to keep the blood moving. I'm only 6ft 2 and it's uncomfortable enough for me. If you're 6ft 4+ it's a health issue.

I agree.

We need a team air plane, like American pro sports teams.

Anyone any good with photoshop, and can mock one up?

Football teams generally try and book all the exit row seats, and give them to the taller players. At least it gives them a little bit more leg room. Still not ideal, though.

Fev smashes people with impunity, he destroyed Whitnall's shoulder a few years back too.

Don't forget when he broke Massie's leg in 2001.
