Has there been any confirmation about whether Harts is injured or not? I was really pleased with his game yesterday considering how long it has been since his last senior game and needing some time to get up to speed. If he is injured again that is just insanely unlucky!
A player just cant be that unlucky with injury surely!!!

Carlton will win this by 5 goals minimum.

Really pissed off they lost yesterday. They're not a team which I ever fancy playing after they lose.

Kicked a goal by intercepting a Richmond kickout.

Confused him with Bannister in the Saints game.

Was rubbish, think of a standard Bentick game with slightly better kicking. Richmond left him alone most of the time. 4 contested possessions, two clearances, six tackles, three inside 50s but zero scoring assists. Kicked a goal because no one bothered to man him.

Zero goal assists according to Champion Data.

IIRC, it was Bentley's long bomb inside 50 that created a contest and a goal for Fevola.

Bentley should apologise for Richmond not manning him up and kicking straight from a set shot.

Do you get the set square out for your game review?

I'm sorry I didn't spend six hours preening my post into a series of mediocre punch lines. :\

IIRC Bentley wasn't recruited to amble down the wing because Richmond couldn't be bothered with him.

I don't know about you, but I thought our forward 50 entries were absolute rubbish also. Constantly up and under, even from Gibbs. I can understand adjusting because of the breeze, but that's just exaggerating the disadvantage.

I don't care what happens during the week, who we choose, whether Barry Hall decides to make a 'shock' comeback, if PaulRoos has Weet-Bix or Rice Bubbles for breakfast, any of that shit. The only, and I mean ONLY, thing I want from this game is nothing less than a full blown, merciless demolition of those gammy bastards in the red and white jumpers. I want to open Sunday's paper confident in the knowledge the the sports section will have a "What's wrong with the Swans?" front page. I want to see dejected Sydney players crawling off the field on hands and knees. I want to see our percentage up to 115 MINIMUM.

This is war. Smash those flowers like there is no tomorrow. And if we don't, there may not be.

:fight:

with ressies not playing last week, I can't see too many changes.

If Fisher gets a game after that performance I will be amazed. 11 possies 34% effective and falling over every time he went near the ball. And against Freo he was rubbish.

O Haiplin in for Fish.

Maybe Austin in for Harts. Not sure. I think Harts did enough to hold his spot yesterday.

Think we will struggle this week as we always seem to against disciplined teams. Lets face it the last two weeks whilst we have won and that should be commended we did play against pretty poor opposition. This week we will have to be switched on from the first bounce, disciplined and play a running attacking game with the first quarter being of utmost importance. Playing 8 taggers and chip chip against this mob will be like walking off a cliff...I know the temptation against this mob is to put lots of thought into who we should stop and what we should do from a negating perspective...I reckon the answer lies in simplicity....keep it simple Ratts.

DO NOT WANT KFC STEVENS BACK IN ... funny we have not lost a single game all year when he has missed!

Fisher definately out ... gave nothing yesterday and is just weak once the ball hits the deck.

Thought Harts had a great game and would keep him in ... Austin needs to understand that the cr@p he pulled out in the first quarter has consequences deeper than his suspension.

Loved the amount of times Fev was dragged yesterday ... think Ratts is finally growing a pair and showing that a tough, fair coach is better than a matey, fair coach.

Bentley is a tough call ... if we have a definate role for him would keep him in if not then no. Would like to see Scott's skilld back on display ... hopefully his dropping will have the same effect as it did on ussle who has shown good form since returning.

I want to see no white in the Swan's jumpers by the end of the game ... each of them to lose a pint of blood!

Go BLUE BOYZ

I hope we make some serious changes this week. We can't be so stupid to think that a 3 goal win against Bitchmond is a good result. They were a very, very young side and we struggled to break free.

In
Setanta
Scotto
Stevens
Aussie

Out
Bentley
Fish
Hartlett
Anderson

Easy at selection:

Ins - Carlos, Scotto
Outs - Fish, Bentley

No Stevo, Carrots and Grigga have locked him out, maybe even for good. Good depth player, but I'd get the trade table ready.

We'll hammer them this week - that Bombers belting at the SCG (the "fortress") would have knocked their confidence around big time, don't underestimate that. No chance of finals, they're ready to be bent over.

They are going down - about 5-8 goals I'd say. Had a similar feeling before we played "bogey team" Port @ Dome last year and we won by 66 pts.

Bring it on!

Have not won three in a row since 2004 - interestingly that was against sides in the bottom half of the ladder

Have not beaten Sydney since 2000

Significant week coming up

If we keep turning the ball over we will get thumped- need to bring in some players that can kick properly - Stevo and Scotto maybe

Fev will be interesting this week doesn't normally go that well against the Swans -

Ok change of heart, Browne in instead of Stevens.

Browne IMO is a better matchup for the type of players the Swans have, small and nuggety and hard at the contest.

I havent heard anything on any injury to Hartlett. I was sitting in the Ponsford stand behind the goals and one thing i noticed about Hartlett was his leadership on the ground. There were severals accassions when he was directing teammates to go and pick up lose players, good signs.
