Would like to see Sauce return to play 2nd ruck behind Hampson. Use Kruezer in the Fisher role forward. Still a few weeks away from happening, but hopefully we will get a chance to try this before the season is over as I think it will give other sides something else to worry about. Kruz is a much better converter of opportunities than Fish

with a 5.5 day break and a trip from Subi to boot, i can see a few changes to the side to keep us fresh. Thankfully we are only playing a Foley-less Richmond.

Scotland, Stevens & Yarran to come in, maybe even Anderson

Armfield, Bentley, Garlett to drop out.

Keep Garlett in as he allows us to play Betts in the guts on occassion.

Scotland and Robbo in for Bentley and Johnson

Garlett has to play

He may not have set the world on fire stats wise, but his ability to be right up the backside of the opposition in the 2nd half was one of the key reasons we did so well

Also frees up Eddie a little

I'd bring Heath in for Bentley, thats about it, unless of course Austin is rubbed out

Aussie now booked for hit. Could be looking at replacing him, too.

I'd keep Johnson in and give Bents the boot for Scotto and Army the boot for Stevo.

I was fuming we dropped Garlett after his St Kilda match. His pressure was great, and despite limited possessions, players like that make the zone look like it's working.

I think he should stay in the seniors and we should be looking at Yarran and Scotland or Anderson back in for Bentley and Armfield.

They've given Armfield a good run in the seniors, and he makes a lot of mistakes. i cant believe it's Round 15 and we're yet to give Anderson a go.

Out: Bentley, Fisher
In: Browne, Anderson

Anderson on Morton. Fisher is unlucky in some ways; it would appear he was tasked to link up midfield and CHF, thereby limiting his ability to chase and tackle. We aren't instructing our third tall/psuedo-tall very well. Having said that, Fisher was a mixed bag at critical times in the game, sometimes straightening us up, other times dropping marks or displaying a complete lack of agility.

It would be getting very tempting to sub out Houla for Yarran - what with zero tackles this week - but they did drop him into defence at one point (as bad as plugging Johnson down there really).

6 day break not good

must win game again

this time last year we were 7 and 7 and finished off the year 3 and 5

must at least reverse that this year

Last year 6 of the last 8 finished in the 8

this year we only play 3 sides that are currently in the 8

Isn't hislimited ability to chase and tackle mainly due to his complete lack of agility, rather than any coaches intstruction?

Players out with injury for this week.

I take it Tex and 206 are two weeks from senior selection rather than two weeks from the Ants.

Sauce doesn't look to be too far away.

Sam Jacobs (foot) - 1 week
Darren Pfeiffer (shoulder) - 2 weeks
Andrew Walker (shoulder) - 2 weeks
Robert Warnock (foot) - 2 weeks
Paul Bower (knee) - 2-4 weeks
Jarrad Waite (knee) - season

I think you'll find that was last week's injury list, i.e. Jacobs should be available this week along with Robbo, and Walker, Pfeiffer and Warnock only 1 week away now

I'm glad we don't have to match up Richo.
With Waite out we were always going to have a problem with Richo.

Now, if Foley isn't playing and Couglan is playing for Coburg, then our midfield will handle there's easily.

I can't see anyone we would have to tag, so we should go all out with an attacking game...and hope the team are switched on with intensity that burns right from the first bounce.

If we are to play finals...if....then we should be buiding stamina from round 15 onwards.
What a great opportunity we have this week.

Russell to Brown...that's about it.

Maybe Delidio is taken by Joseph...we will need a Joseph like player to play on Nahas....he's slippery.

I want to win by more than the Bombers beat us last game. I want our percentage back.
70 points, nothing less.

Lets start a roll of big wins over the Tigers, Swans, then the big one, Maggies. 3 in a row.
I need some pressure relief.

I would say given that he figures into a lot of aerial contests (and does pretty well given he took 9 marks on the weekend) gives his opponent a head start if he doesn't take the mark, which is further compounded by his pace and agility.

If he wasn't so reliant on his aerial skills to win the footy, he would probably be able to add a bit more defensive pressure. Zero tackles. The other blokes with that stat for the game are Thornton (CHB), Setanta (CHF) and Houlihan (on the chopping block also).

I wouldn't be surprised if the trip back from WA results in a few changes this week.

Armfield has his up's and downs, but I think it's time for Browne to get a sustained run in the team. Direct swap for me.

Was just about to put a line through Johnson's name, I couldn't remember him doing much apart from a few kicking errors and the goal in the last quater, but his stats look pretty good. Still, I would swap Scotland in for Johnson (He can do everything Johnson does and more, plus was unlucky to even be dropped)

Bentley ??? Not sure what his role EVER is ............... I would have given Anderson a go infront of him last week. Bentley out, Ando in.

Do we need Steven's straight back into the side ??? I don't really think so ... Steven's being out freed up space in the midfield rotation for Carrazzo to take over and play, probably, the best game I have half seen him play (only watched the second half ...........).

The other player would be Fisher. Good mark but not much else. His lack of defensive pressure is a liability to the team, and it's this defensive pressure which really tore up the Tigers in rd 1. I would like to see Twitch in for Fisher, depending on how Fisher pulls up and how Twitch goes about it at training this week.

So my in's and out's.

In. Browne, Scotland, Anderson, Robinson (maybe).

Out. Armfield, Johnson (prob wont happen), Bentley, Fisher (prob won't happen)

we've played our 2 remaining 'danger games' barring the geelong game which is yet to come, and we won one of them. Now we should expect victories, and a few big ones too IMO.

Richmond aren't going to win anytime soon, they're no real challenge. But at the same time, humility keeps the level of commitment high.

I dont know if armfield's injury keeps him out, but if it doesnt, i would keep him in the side. He provided some good run through the middle 3rd of the ground, and yeh his disposal can desert him from time to time, but he's so attacking i find it excusable.

I think hotlips houlihan played a cinderella game, took me back to 2004. And that hurts me to say, as im a big wrap and his disposal SHOULD keep him from ever playing at preston ever again, but like stevens, needs a kick up the backside to get back to his best.

Garlett was missing yesterday, but would dropping the lad after just one match hurt his confidence etc?

fisher presented well as usual, damn he has good hands, just begging for him to improve his finishing. He'd be so damaging too opposition!

The tigers are far less experienced than the side we played round 1. The sad part is that was them nearly at their full strength!. . and we're only minus waite from that match in reality so we have no panic button to press this week.

In: robinson (stevens if armfield injured)
Out: houlihan (armfield if injured)
