One thing I've never been able to fathom is that teams like us with ordinary lists pay our players pretty much the same total $$ (ie. 100% of the cap) as a club like Geelong, packed with stars.


It's the AFL's fault - forcing teams to pay 92.5% of the max to a bunch of kids battlers and crocks with no free agency to bring in quality is a recipe for...Stevens getting $500k in 2010 :screwy:
