Yep, fair enough that he is under the microscope now. I admire his honesty in admitting his mistakes while learning, but should not have had a contract extension beyond the end of this season at this stage IMO.
another massive blunder by our club that will set us back even longer.
Ratts >>head coach........ unqualified...
Sticks >>President..... amazing... Sticks is a mover shaker.. very worldly and understand how to make things happen.... an intellectual giant of the business world...
Things look good at the top...

Synbad in an ideal world who would you have as Senior coach and president of the club?
Personally i'd love Paul Roos coaching our club and Mike Fitzpatrick as president
Mike Fitpatrick has never wanted the job.
Anyone but Ratts............. Ratts is a man that treads water....he has had no formal training to manage a football club... he is underquaified to coach.. his tactical nouse is highly questionable... he is reactive not proactive.. you can see that in the way our team often plays... its backpeddling and just flicking the ball around.
Im a believer that you need to be positive and you should be moving forwards .. your momentum should be on the front foot...if your momentum is going forward youre putting pressure on the opposition side..
Ratts is a believer that you need to guard the footy... and protect it... (fair enough)... but where Ratts and his enius gameplan falls down is once you have the ball and youre looking at protecting ot frm the opposition.... then what???...you still have to take it forward fluid to score.
Our gameplan is chip it around and dont let the oppostion have it (in the theory) but we dont know how to do it.. so then its give it to Juddy... dont worry there are 3 blokes hanging off him.... "give it to the champ".... then from there all roads lead to Fev.....dont worry there are 3 blokes hanging off him....."kick it to Fev".... and if Fev doesnt get it... Eddie needs to kick another one out of his arse...(which he does alot for Ratts and his unstrcuctured forward structures...
Now Ratts has been doing the same thing for the last 41 games...without much else...
Some Ancient Greek once said.... " The fox has many tricks... but the porcupine only has one trick... but an effective one"....
Well Ratts has ony one trick but its a poor one... at least if he is unimaginative he could be more like the porcupine and have one effective trick..
As Ratts continues to flog something that isnt working...the players will pick up on it.. and when the players sense Ratts one trick is ineffective days like today will be more common..
Now getting back to who do i think would be a good coach???
Id like to think we can speak to a few prospectives properly with a real process...and be wise enough to choose the right man for our job....
