You know your team is struggling when your 8yo son suggests we should drop Fev & bring in "that bald guy whoe use to play, number 3...."

- yes digby morrell...

It's not Hughes fault that Fev does not deliver on the big stage when we desperately need him to do so.... but it's pretty sad that we don't have anything close to his successor on our list at the moment, when we're supposedly approaching our premiership window.

We'll Fev's kicked 7, 7 and 8 the last 3 time's we played them before tonight and we still lost. Easy to blame Fev but seriously bar 2 or 3 tonight the whole team had a stinker!!!

Don't bag Fev about performing on the big stage he's done it many times, it's time some others stood up.

Fev's not the only one out there but he's always the first to cop it when we lose.

We will NEVER get close to a premiership with selfish footballers in our side and Fevola must go.

He is a automatic selection every week and plays like he knows it.

He obviously has no passion for this footy club or it's supporters how can you not chase your opponent??????? HOW?????? Its an team game he lets us down too often. Tonoght against Essendon* showed all he cares about is himself.

I chase players down at my local footy club because i want to do my part for the team every week and bust my gut i'm not on 600+ k a year to do it. Its not hard.

His mentality stinks and we need to move forward and trade him to the Gold Coast for a draft pick. I've had enough of him i watched him tonight Pears ran off him twice and he sat in the 50 with his hands on his head.

Time to go.

Fevola cannot go, he can be lazy and sulky and thats the problem he CAN be because who else do we have that we can bring in?

Jake Edwards? NO
Adam Hartlett? NO
Cameron Cloke? NO

I dont think so. We DESPERATELY NEED TO DRAFT MORE THAN ONE BIG FORWARD LINE AND A BACKLINE PROSPECT, which in turn can also free up jarrad waite

There IS no one that can play full forward apart from fev. If we get rid of him we go back to where we were 3 years ago and this is the problem.

So give me your idea????? Get your head out of the sand. His 3rd quarter tonight was as bad as it gets from a 600k + forward..............

I don't care about delivery, blah blah blah. He set a disgraceful tone in the premiersip quarter with his petulent showing of the ball to Pears after taking a mark on the lead. And then to miss the goal & then not chase out of the backline was just awful.

He is your typical class clown.

Grow up this is your job you are paid to do the right things its such a painstaking task just to get him to do the team things i'm jack of it....

JUdd must wonder why he didn't go to collingwood or Essendon* where the professionalism is leaps and bounds above ours.

more than 10 blokes worse than fev tonight, shut the flower off and leave the bloke alone, hes easily in our best 22 so he plays.

pretty disgraceful when a player like Russell who gives 100% each week gets dropped before Stevens.

even worse is the amount of abuse Russell receives from armchair supporters

Ratten made it quite clear in his interview that Fev was the 'extorvert' and brought something different to the club. He is untouchable.

I thought Fev kicked 4 goals 8 last time and cost us the game with horrible kicking

He is not a team man. This debate occurs every 4 weeks. I thought he'd just about put it to bed in 06 and 08, but the guy can't help himself. He can't bring basic professionalism often enough - he's the barometer of the team like it or not and his example feeds into the rest of the team.

In a perfect world we would have traded him for 2 first rounders if and when we had the chance. We're probably stuck with him for the rollercoaster ride and we'll forgive and forget next time he kicks a bag - but honestly, are we really going places with this guy as our shining hope? Puleeze. You're gonna rely on this bloke and trust him to perform in a final? really?

Apologies for the double post before, alcohol plus iPhone is not a good combo

stevens was by far the worst and fev apart from being a showpony in the 3rd did no more than anyone else which contributed to that PATHETIC performance. It's easy to blame him because he clowns around....

Disgraceful Fev. I don't give a damn what your personal problems are. If they are as bad as suggested and rumoured please leave now.

As for petulance and selfishness he is not the only one at this club. In fact we have 2 others that show it far to often as well.

Stevens and Thornton. Admittedly one of them did not play tonight, but Thornton has a habit of grumbling and sooking particularly towards teammates.
