Very ordinary effort after half time.

No running, no tackling.

The umpires ran harder than we did.

Shocking performance and to lose by 11 goals to them makes it worse.

I feel a touch numb from it all.

Unacceptable from the players.

Totally unacceptable from Ratten and the coaching staff..

Big question marks hanging over him and his ability to deliver.

What is it with some sides. We beat up on Collingwood, the Bulldogs and Brisbane each time but by contrast this lot beats us all the time. I still think against these types of sides our biggest weakness, in-game 100 min consistency, kills us. We control them for a while the we "lose concentration" and with they're speed they quickly run all over us. That's especially after a break. We fight back often in games with our backs against the wall but we simply can't do that all the time as seen tonight.

On the bright side the last time they beat us this miserably we beat them by a point later on in a PF...lol!

just horrible being there, no positives whatsoever, dare I say we looked like a rabble?

Can only hope we win next week and they get destroyed by collingwood, then they can crow all they like

Yes, most demoralising loss that I can think of in the grand scheme of things but I just hope we can learn from it, as the cliché goes.

What a total disgrace... When the hell does Ratten's contract finish cos we really need to get rid of this pretender of a coach. We have a very very good side. So powers of deduction point clearly at Ratten being the freeloader. Also the MC needs to take responsibility for picking hacks like Bannister and Houla.

Somebody's head needs to roll... I just hope its Brett's. Not happy at all. Ratten just handed the best game possible to Essendon* in a neatly wrapped package. He even put a lovely little bow on top.

Not good enough Ratten... Do everybody a favour and step down.

Trying as hard as I can to find a positive and all I can think of is Fisher taking a few contested grabs in the second half ... AND I DO NOT WANT HIM IN THE SIDE!

Have to say its my feeling that it was just one of those games ... you know the ones where absolutely nothing goes right for you ... when the ball always bounces the oppositions way etc etc.

Saying that the scum always had huge numbers around the ball at all time and applied pressure relentlessly.

We just dissappeared.

Very upset with Ratten as a coach at the moment because he has been sucked in too many times by Knights ... why do we keep playing the same kind of football against these pack of flowering jerk offs ... u know what I am talking about ... straight shoot out, give them a red carpet down the corridor type stuff .... News flash if it has not worked the last few times ... why is it gonna work now!

Such an important game ... and no motivation from the players ... has to fall on the coaching staff .... leadership group needs to act like that .... we looked like a ruddeless ship heading for a coral reef tonight ... and was close to our best team on the park!

Poor effort .... still shell shockcked an hour after the game!

Cam we write to the AFL and get them to cancel the rest of our games? That would be soooo sweet. No more footy for 2009! Heaven!
