Chicken Little?

Hey, I found someone with perspective.

Disappointing but that's footy. Just look forward now to next week. Nothing can be done about this now so there's no point getting too p1ssed about something one can't control.

Nearly every side cops a hiding at some stage of a season. Even Geelong's only loss last year was pushing 100.

What a bunch of bloody squibs. Stevens, Houlahan, Scotland, Fisher and Fevola should never be in the team at the same time.

Stevo Houla and fish are as soft as soft can be...Scotland is inconsistent but better then those three and Fev's head isnt right 'snip'

This match outlined one thing. We pretty much gave up during 3rd qtr. Where was the spirit from earlier in the year and last year where would would come back hard regardless of the margin??
Rattens better get his shit together cause I'd hate to imagine what would happen if we lose next week.

And Setanta in foward line = epic fail.

A good start tonight might be to question how you can have Stevens, Houla and Scotland in the same team.

Is it because we're not coaching well enough to make use of their talents :?:

How does a soup can like Skipworth bob up to get 19 touches and kicks a goal or two?

That's the second time that spud has done it us against this year, yet we still try to outscore them and leave the ground wide open.

Skipworth would look worse than Scotland on our team.

Essendon* just ran the ball through the Grand Canyon we left open in the middle and get it to a Winderlich, Dempsey or Lovett on their lonesome. :?

FFS! :banghead:

We are most definitely the worst side apart from Melbourne. Shocking. Inept. Hopeless. Crap. All are apt words to describe us and Melbourne.

The Dees!

The Blues!

Teams with names like that have their futures in doubt.

You're a funny bloke. On tonight's effort, we're on a par with Dees (actually 20 points worse). My Dawks mate keeps reminding me that they used to get pumped every now and then in 07......and look what they did in 08. 010 for the Baggers ?

just got back from game - amazingly angry - dont want to blame any individuals as it was a horrible team effort -everyone was slack in their running. I know everyone is getting a bit heated on here - and we are all disappointed - but i reckon that was just about our best team we had on the park and we failed - i think we probably all need to just calm down and take it all in over the next few days - but jeez - that was the most frustrated i have been for a long time - i suppose we are still on the whole a young side that is going to be inconsistent.

Terrible gameplan - crap stop, start football. Something we play far too much of. We have no idea how to get the ball out of defence.

This game was once again lost in the coaches box.

Far too top heavy, far too slow.

Inept coaching = inept football.

It's time Ratten came under serious scrutiny. If we as a club want to get the best, not just the best available (to use a Prattism), then it's time to ask questions:

"Is Carlton going to win a premiership with Ratts as coach?"
