In the week leading into rd 3, my girlfriend and I broke up after 5 years, I had to put my 18 year old cat to sleep, and then, during the game, two birds pooed on me.... no it wasn't good luck.
When the siren ended the game, the hurt I can't describe.

flower me that is bad luck. This game just means so much to everyone and everything that is Carlton, do you think they feel the same way?

Thanks for the welcome folks.
I'm sure they do at windy hill, though their supporters have been very cagey, almost quiet at my work this week.

Very similar to rd 3 actually.......

IT WAS an act of gross betrayal, a heartbreaker, maybe a moment of madness, but I cannot forgive him.

Last week I was forced to send my boy to his room without dinner after I caught him at the school fete with his face painted in what he called a "Carlton Blue".

It was navy with a splash of white and at first I felt nauseous, then sadness, then pure rage, and was tempted to smack his scrawny four-year-old butt then and there.

I honestly believe someone should re-emerge with a Communist party because they would be swept to power just with the votes from AFL supporters who obviously despise the freedoms and entrepreneurial liberties of free market economies and yearn for totalitarian control of an authoritative body. I mean everyone calls our use of these democratic, free market rights as cheating so obviously it is frowned upon and should be quashed!

Wankers!

As you're no doubt aware, words and images cannot describe my contempt for this piece of faeces organisation, and how anyone who puts on those colours feels the need to become a complete turd. So I'm not going to add to this wonderful thread, save for this image I'm surprised hasn't come up yet...

Good to see we felt more about the motivation to belt the Scum than the boys did tonight.

Show them this thread. Surely they will "feel" as much as us? Surely?

Once a jolly Carlton, smashed a poor Essendon*,
Under the shade of the MCG stands.
And we sang as we watched,
As Lloyd was thumped in to next year
You'll come and watch Carlton win with me.

Goals to Carrazzo, Goals to Fevola,
You'll see the goals coming from our Eddie,
And we sang our great song as AJ played like Juddy boy,
And Gibbs set up goals kicked on the run by Murphy.

Out jumped a Bannister, after crashing through Watson,
Passed a ball up in to our forward fifty,
As Stevens ran and got mad just like last week against the Saints,
Running right through some poor berk named Monfries.

(Repeat chorus while watching 99 prelim).

Over little Ryder jumped our man Kru-u-zer.
Palming the ball down to Captain Juddy,
And he runs and he runs and he sidesteps like they're standing still,
But you'll see the bombers still get all the frees.

Goals to O'hailpin, Goals to Fevola,
You'll see the goals from the great man Eddie,
And the dash from Simpson and the long kicks coming from Scotland,
You'll see the Bluebaggers win at the 'G'.

I can't believe I spent time trying to reword that song.. Bloody hell. I should have just put up the notes for the Funeral March
