I suspect that Sticks feels he owes Elliott too much to make comment. He needs to break whatever ties he has with this clown. Either way I'm not that comfortable with Sticks as president......I think this position is the last piece of the puzzle that we need to get right. I realise it's a figure head role but all the same he is not a natural at at and never will be.

2 weeks ago Jeff Kennet come out on the Hawthorn website and gave all the coaching staff and players a spray and apologised to the supporters for the crap they dished up in Tasi.

He sat in the coaches box last night, just like you see Costa, Kennett, D Smorgon doing on a regular basis.

Gee we're a professionally run club - at the vanguard of AFL as we approach the second decade of the new century.

Unlike most clubs, our CEO is the power - not our president. So it's not surprising that Sticks is silent most of the time. Obviously, Dick left a vacuum that hasn't been filled but needs to be shortly IMO.
