We all know don't we , that one of our players will be pinged for "deliberately" rushing a point on Friday night.

In fact in the style of "The Price is Right" put the following in the order that they happen.

1. A scuffle will break out where several players wrestle and grapple with each other. The umpire will see an Essendon* jumper flutter and pay a free kick.
2. Lloyd will throw himself forward in a contest and receive a free kick. His opponent will roll his eyes at the umpire and be penalised 50m.
3. A Blues player clearing defence under pressure will be penalised for deliberate out of bounds after the ball lands awkwardly and bounces at right angles over the line.
4. Angus Monfries will be rewarded several times for buckling at the knees.
5. See the "deliberate" point above.
6. A Carlton player will be knocked unconcious whilst going for the ball, and will be pinged for diving on the footy and not moving it on.
7. An Essendon* kick for goal will hit the post but be awarded a goal anyway.
8. Fevola will be held, shepherded, hit from the front, the back , the side and will not get a free.

I could go on!

You forgot to add that Fevola will give away at least three 50 metre penalties for not being Matthew Lloyd.

The sheer joy and euphoria that comes from beating Essendon* is all the motivation I needed... but now, after seeing this, I want blood on the sherrin. I want, need us to win this week, and to make it a punishing win.

Not only to follow up last weeks effort and ensure we are on track for something to do in September, but because it is Essendon*.

Just to help the mood along, and in vain tribute to those wonderfully reworded songs after we got Captain Judd.

Once a jolly Carlton, smashed a poor Essendon*,
Under the shade of the MCG stands.
And we sang as we watched,
As Lloyd was thumped in to next year
You'll come and watch Carlton win with me.

Goals to Carrazzo, Goals to Fevola,
You'll see the goals coming from our Eddie,
And we sang our great song as AJ played like Juddy boy,
And Gibbs set up goals kicked on the run by Murphy.

Out jumped a Bannister, after crashing through Watson,
Passed a ball up in to our forward fifty,
As Stevens ran and got mad just like last week against the Saints,
Running right through some poor berk named Monfries.

(Repeat chorus while watching 99 prelim).

Over little Ryder jumped our man Kru-u-zer.
Palming the ball down to Captain Juddy,
And he runs and he runs and he sidesteps like they're standing still,
But you'll see the bombers still get all the frees.

Goals to O'hailpin, Goals to Fevola,
You'll see the goals from the great man Eddie,
And the dash from Simpson and the long kicks coming from Scotland,
You'll see the Bluebaggers win at the 'G'.

Hi TC.

For me, Essendon* is THE NUMBER 1 team I love to beat. Hands down.
I hate them, my god how I hate them.

In my lifetime (being 29), they are our biggest rival that has taken success from us. The rivalry was so intense throughout the 90s and early 00s, I don't think anyone here needs reminding.
Oh, and most of my extended family supports them too!

In the week leading into rd 3, my girlfriend and I broke up after 5 years, I had to put my 18 year old cat to sleep, and then, during the game, two birds pooed on me.... no it wasn't good luck.
When the siren ended the game, the hurt I can't describe.

That footage of Matthew Kinghts punchinhg the air still shocks and offends me.
Did they beat Carlton or win the flag? Stupid flowers!

In my fantasy land, we win by 100 points on Friday night, with Fev kicking his 10th after
the final siren. And then, every single Essendon* player turns into a football and Carlton supporters are allowed to jump the fence and kick the flower sh*t out of them.

aaaaaaaaaaaaah. I feel better now.

Bury them Blues!

One more thing...
Just wanted to say that this website has changed my life, and changed me as Carlton suppoter.
It's a tremendous source for information and a fantastic place for all things navy blue!
Thank you to all involved, truly.

Much as I'd love to beat them this week, let's remember the real race is to No 17.

As long as we win that one I'll be delighted.

Welcome aboard, johnny. Good to see that the hate is festering.

Hope you have fun here.

There's an expression one could use about "vehicular manslaughter involving a person of Oriental appearance" in regards to your run of luck, but that's not very PC these days.

Just rest assured, they may have won the battle, but we'll well and truly win the war. Let them crow over individual match wins, let us keep our eyes firmly on the big prize - Premierships.

There is no doubt about it, I want to win, but not just any win, I want four quarters of pulverisation, just like Round 1. No taking our foot off the pump, tackle hard so we can see Essendon* heads driven into the turf. Between these guys and the Saints, no victory would be sweeter.

Fletcher's push on Fevola at the end of this video.

This is the "motivate with pure hatred" thread, the "Motivated by our inspirational saviour" thread hasn't been created yet.
