Andrew Walker is a month away after his latest shoulder reconstruction.

Carlton football manager Steven Icke said Judd had again proved his resilience.

"We were a bit surprised he came out and trained, but such is the quality and professionalism of the player that nothing should surprise. He trained well," he said.

Icke said Warnock was increasing his training after struggling with a foot injury.

"We think he will be ready around Round 14 or 15."

While Walker's season looked over when he damaged his shoulder again in April, the Blues say he can be a factor within weeks.

"Fitness-wise he could play tomorrow but he needs to get his final clearance from his shoulder specialist and then he will play a couple in the VFL and gain some confidence in his shoulder," Icke said.

I had ridden Walker off for 09 but if he can come back in get some games under his belt before finals (if we make it) along with Warnock we could coz alot of headaches come finals.

1AW has almost become the forgotten man and i dont think anybody realises how important he can be for us.

Fab 4
Stevens
Judd
Murphy
Gibbs

add Walker and we have an incredible set up in the middle.

Remember his 1st game? 1AW can be an elite midfielder.

F50 - we need some assistance at the front of the business right now.

..true, but a hard and tenacious mid would suit us, especially one fresh and raring to go.. ..inject some good speed/acceleration into the guts..

definitely offered something new and exciting as a forward when he came back late last season.

I'd play him up forward also.

Dynamic, unpredictable, can take a solid mark, can snap a freakish goal, can just add another dimension to our forward line, not unlike Jarred Brennan.

F50 - would give some added forward intensity/defensive pressure. Might also help protect his shoulder a bit (when compared to centre square stuff)

Forward for the rest of this year. Next year one of our dashing options off halfback and also forward when required.
Wing also.

I'd love to see Andy Walker giving us drive off halfback.

And most of all, I'd just like to see him back fully fit, and firing.

Walker and Warnock in the firsts weeks before the finals .... mmmm ... better than beings in a jelly filled kiddy pool with several girls from the playboy mansion!

Ok maybe not but damn close!

Just hope that Warnock delivers on the hype ... if he does then ... mmmmm ... much better than the jelly pool!
