Stealing a line from Channel 7.

1. Stephen Browne and Aaron Joseph are the defensive smalls we have been crying for.

2. Mark Austin belongs on the AFL stage. Mr 1%.

3. The Blues forwards needs to speak with Derek Fisher on nailing the money shot when it counts.

4. Sticks needs to send someone to the umpires with the match replay and ask how Reiwoldt gets soft frees in the same game Fev didn't get one, despite some pretty obvious holding, especially in the first five minutes.

1. Stevo needs to maintain the rage he showed in the 2nd half to be worth his spot.
2. Austin should play the rest of the year.
3. If the umpires continue to under umpire, playing for frees is a mugs game.

Regards Cazzesman

1) We have the best group of emerging young players in the comp. With Yarran and Robbo playing Bullants plus Walker and Warnock to return things are looking good.

2) A quality tall forward would make a big difference.....pity about the injury to Waite as he was in career best form.

3) Browne is a gem - great value for pick #36

1. On three separate occasions McBurney hesitated to blow the whistle when there was a blatant Carlton free kick. Literally hesitated. He was almost regretful about it - shocking display by a senior umpire.

2. Vozzo - see above

3. Still can't find the Gisch's number in the phone book. He needs a nice long talking to.

1. Whingeing about umpiring decisions is a waste of energy

2. Austins days as an ant are over.

3. Tbird should be shopped around this October.

1 Recruiting/trading over the last few years has been exceptional -hardly a miss - leave aside the first picks - look at browne arnfield hampson grigg bower - joseph gartlett betts austin jamison

2 the depth of list is much deeper - imagine playing that well -without our two most experienced defenders - waite and thorton - playing without walker and waite arguably our two most versatile players
Our number one ruckman and recruit Warnock hasnt played a game yet

Fisher cloke wiggins russell bannister all regulars in last few years need to fight really hard to get games

3 Not far off need games into hampson gartlett joseph austin arnfield

4 Forward line needs work - hopefully Yarran can give another dimension - need another takll forward - setanta played well last night

1. We're not far off, and have depth
2. Our backline is underrated by many in the football media, and is very versatile with two of our best missing down there
3. We can score goals rapidly and by different goal kickers

1) Our backline can match it with arguably the best forward line in the league (Twin Towers in Roo and Kosi, small forward in Milne and Schneider) IF there is enough pressure applied in the midfield, WITHOUT Waite and Thornton. Possible CHF and trade bait ???

2) We can match it with elite midfields IF we raise out intensity for 4 QUARTERS !!!!!!!!!! 5 mins stints in the 1st and 3rd qtr's killed us ........

3) WE NEED TO RECRUIT ANOTHER CLASS KPP !!!!!!!! Be it with our 1st rd pick, or trade for it (someone young, not a quick fix). Another tall forward would make the WORLD of difference in our forward line.

1. st kilda are not that good...geelong will smash them...i finally believe we can match it, if thats the second best team in the comp

2. besides the first 5 minutes of that game...bower is gonna be a gun and love his run off the backline

3. i flower hate st kilder supporters, thats nothing new but just reinforced after last night, i can imagine how much they hated us, was hearing a stat at the ground that we won the first 100 games against them lol now imagine another 40 years of us losing to them

Ask James Hird. Best $20k he ever spent.

1. bower's run out of defense is our number one asset at the moment
2. hampson is improving nicely, as is austin
3. armfield and garlett probably not quite ready yet (armfield - defensive positioning ; garlett - not big enough (despite his couple of nice runs)

Reinforced we dont need 5 tall backs
We shouldnt tag forward pockets when we can tag damaging midfielders who create the supply.
We play better when we run and attack the oppostion and dont chip the ball around...

Didnt learn anything just received affirmation

1) Bower is a gun out of defence ... loved his runs up the guts and even with 5 goals against him (most pretty early, a couple questionable) thought he won the day.

2) Am having serious questions about my sexuality everytime I see AJ ... if he gets any better I am gonna turn into his stalker!

3) Probably didn´t learn what I already knew but Judd is the glue, the polish, the nails and the heart of the team. The times he was off the ground with the nose probably gave the Saints the game ... he is that important. WHAT A LEADER ... no one else could mould this team the way he is going to ... will go down as one of if not th best Carlton captain ever. Sorry Sticks but after we win 4 premierships in a row it will be hard to argue with my prediction.
