If we lose I hope Fev doesn't go around hugging all the Saints players.

I would prefer Fev consoles the St Kilda players after we smash them.

I'm guessing that with Bannisters inclusion and Fishers outing, we're gonna play man-on-man and leave some space up forward for Fevola?

It should be an entertaining game. Not quite sure if we're gonna win, but i think we're ready to go toe-to-toe with the Saints and be threatening.

If the Saints win, it will be 12 wins in a row for the season AND against us. That's a mighty feat and they should be congratulated.
NOW LETS GO SMASH EM! :fight:

I've elected to occupy myself otherwise tonight and record the Main Event broadcast. Without knowing the result, will watch the game on Saturday afternoon. If we win cool. If we lose, I will avoid the rants and wrist slashing on here. WIN WIN.

Having only one key marking forward will hurt us tonight.

Saints are a very well organised defence and if we go through Fev 80% of the time, they will kill us. Fish must come in for Thornton as we have no other decent options. Banno adds a defender already, no need to bring in Austin (unless he's going to play forward).

If what we're hearing about Thornton is true, then for another week St Kilda 2009 = Essendon* 2000 in terms of being lucky flowers.

The advantages of living in Brisbane.

Even if you tried not to know the result in Melbourne you'd be sure to hear someone in a lounge room nearby going off their trolly.

Better not listen to any news service tonight or tomorrow either verbs.

...I got a bet with my boss and the butcher on this one. GO BAGGERS.

I'm not hearing anything but innuendo about Thornton being out...my sources say the same thing the coach said...General soreness at the start of the week, but trained indoors with rest of the team Thursday arvo. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

It's time.
Enough is enough.
Time to draw a line in the sand.

Sick and tired of losing to these pricks.

Its men vs boys out there tonight and im hoping that our boys really take it up to the Sainters and give a good count for themselves. Saying that I hope we can match it with them but im fearing a huge loss coming up for the blue baggers

Will be doing my best to avoid anything that will give away the result, including checking emails and SMSs. Had a bit of practice over the years.

On a kind of related note, last Saturday night I drove along Wellington and all the way up Balaclava to Ipswich Rd with the stereo on 10 much to the "delight" of Lions supporters walking to wherever after the game.

we can beat this mob. We are on a roll. They must lose sometime. We have Judd. They don't. King is out. Kosi ready to display his lack of peripheral vision and knock Riewoldt out. Milne underdone. Joseph ready to take another scalp. Betts to kick 3 plus. Fev to kick 6. We win by 11 points. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSS!!!

GO BLUEBAGGERS

True. I dont think we will be up with the best until our core of young guns are 23 -35 years old. Thats Bower,GIbbs, murph, Hampson, warnoch,Grigg, jamo, betts, Kreuser, Aj,Robo ,Yarra,Austin etc. When they all come through together and reach 23 -24 and have 80 - 100 games up we will be a top side,2012-2013. Until then i just hope we learn and keep learning. TOnight i see as another learning experience.

If the saints play the way they have the last couple of weeks we are a chance if we play our best. I hope we smash them but realistically a good close game where we pick up a few things will be just as rewarding in the long run.

I dont like Milne and Montagna or clubs that harbour people of this kind.

Blues by 62.

Forgetting the Yarran-Rich debate, we need a Michael Hurley type to play on the Justin Kositzke type for the next 5-10 years. That was a real opportunity missed.
Bower is ideal for Riewoldt. I would think Jamison would take Kosi but if Kosi cuts loose, our only backup is Setanta (if Thornton is unfit). Kosi will wreak havoc with the long bomb to the goal square.

I'm not getting my hopes up and that's that.

All I want is to see us pumped up from the first bounce..I've noticed this year within the first 5 minutes I can tell if we are swtiched on or not...so tonight I want a good effort.
