Should be rivetting, but probably won't be. They'll flower it.

Shame it's not on Ten.

they could use amazing Slow-Speaking-Deep-Voice-DramaticMAN

The only time StKilda have looked slightly shakey was when the other team went man on man. We have to take our chances and go man on man ... its our only chance.

Maybe the best question will be,
'When do you guys intend swapping back to your own clubs?'

Someone mentioned Thornton being out injured this week - if so I'd love to see Harts get a gig

Who else might come in - go out?

Grigg was the disappointing player for me - and he will be far better in the next few weeks as he settles back in. Apart from match fitness, really needs to improve his kicking under pressure - takes far too long to get a kick away.

Jamo hasn't been his usual indomitable self this year...may need a rest, and with the break coming up, 3 weeks to rest the shoulder may or may not be in order.

Army and Browne are safe after great games.

Fisher will probably get another game, but he is a problem, and Cloke is a faulty solution.

Houlihan and Betts will want to do a bit more if, as expected Fev is prevented from marking by Max et al.

No unforced changes for mine.

You might be right about Thornton, heard Ratten mention that Hartlett was in the mix this week.

If T-Bird is out and we rest Jamo that means we are going into the game against one of the best organised forward lines in the AFL minus our 3 most seasoned defenders. What a great test that would be for Bower, Austin and possibly Harts. I am not suggesting it will work out well for us but it will be great to see how they go if they get the chance.

I am looking forward to tomorrow night to see where we are at. Through the week I have ventured over to bigfooty for a few looks and reading the Saints forum I let my mind wonder into the world where we beat the saints. I can't remember the last time we beat them, and going to high school during our worst period ever where the saints had the wood over us was pure hell (there is only so many times you can point out the premierships before you get tired). I went through the whole of high school without getting to give my saints supporting mates hell, for most of you older people here that was a rite of passage.

It may not happen tomorrow, but one day we will beat the saints, and we will beat them to victory on the last Saturday in September, because it's what we do... And when we do it by God will it be sweet. GO BLUES!

Wait, I thought it was only other teams that were missing key backmen.

I should have remembered. Our key backmen are not key backmen  Lucky the media are constantly reminding us of this fact.

..exactly, zoning was/is a novelty when it comes to strategies.. ..it works more for sports where you can't physically tackle your opponent.. ..but when you can, you're much better suited to go man on man.. ..if our players bring 4 quarter intensity and play dedicated/disciplined footy the saints won't have the room and space to dictate the play.. ..also keep in mind that they'll try to play that way vs us when we have possession.. ..so best we match it..

Don't want to sound negative, but in my view it's unlikely Fevola will kick a bag for the 3rd week straight.

No point going man-on-man when it takes 1 player not to do his job or fall over which then works against you, guess why the zone can work sometimes... tough caper this football...

True... I can not remember a game during Fev's whole career where he's managed to locl more then 3 or 4 against St Kilda.

Just checked injuryupdate.com.au .....no mention of any of them...yet.

Although they do list Milne as facing a test with a knee injury.
