Yes...he does! Well spotted.
Perhaps a bit like Sam..and it's good, good, good, having a hobbit in your Supercoach team.

There's been a fair bit of talk about teams being hit by flu. Not necessarily H1N1, but regular seasonal flu.

My thoughts turned to that when we seemed to tire in the last quarter, given we've been pretty strong finishers for a while now. Has the team been hit by the flu over the last week, which contributed to fatigue?

Why is anyone even talking about umpires? Was there one decision to Carlton that wasn't correct because if there was I didnt see it. Voss is a sook. His team was outplayed for 3 quarters and but for a cameo by Brennan it would have been all over at 1/2 time. Brisbane still rely on their senior players. The guys that got them in the game were Brown, Power, Black and Bradshaw. Thats what Voss should be worried about.

On to more important matters. As has happened to us before, we were killed By Black in the last 1/4. Think Black in Rd 2, Sewell and Mitchell against hawthorn. Joseph had Hooper under control and Carrots was doing the job on Travis. Grigg I thought was nowhere near Black all game. At what point should Ratten have moved Joseph or carrots to mark Black. As far as I was concerned he was the man that was going to steal the game. Obviously we won the game so its a moot point but I would like to see a quicker reaction from the box

There is no need to be so "precious".

Garlett is looking like a future wingman for us; good height (and uses it), quick, agile, presents well and delivers the ball beautifully. Seems to have the engine too. We'll have to target another small forward in the next couple of drafts.

The extra kilos are almost there, but he stands up in tackles and contests, so the only concern comes down to how quickly he pulls up from each match (bruising, corkies, etc).

Kudos to the staff on getting him up and going when he clearly needed a lot of work. Another superb pluck from the rookie draft.

I still have some reservations about Jeff, but I agree, he does seem to have put a couple of kgs on

On the subject of weight - I noticed that Fev seems to have trimmed down nicely - anyone else pick that up? his leads seem a bit sharper, as does his recovery after a contest

Wouldn't have been hard for him to put on weight given that there was a 3 or 4 week period where the only time he'd be on two legs was group training and game day.

Must've been wearing the ring when he snuck up on Stevens in the last... how else do you explain having your kick smothered by a guy that can't reach far enough to undo his own fly!

Yet to see the game, only highlights. Looking forward to the replay tomorrow.

It appears from everything I've read since Sat night we only won because of the umps

Fish was nothing flash the other night, Harts been very solid for Ants past few weeks. RR has posted that he may be AFL standard after all. Many of us doubters thinking again.

What do we have to lose v the bigger bodies of the Saints:

In - Harts

Out - Fisher

Start Harts @ CHF, Carlos to Kosi down back? Harts a handy option down back, too.

Before I'm reminded about the run of the Saints half backs, we don't have Waite or Tex to fix this, so we can only work with what we've got. Is Fish going to stop their run?

We won it!

That's 3 in a row over them now, and a welcome end to their winning run against us.
