I barrack for the Carlton Football Club.

When I think something good happens to the Carlton Football Club it makes me happy.

I barrack for the Carlton Football Club.

If players improve and make the Carlton Football Club better, that makes me happy.

If players do not improve and make the Carlton Football Club worse, that makes me sad.

If players win a premiership for the Carlton Football Club that makes me very happy.

If players put in 100% and get the best out of themselves even if they do not get a premiership that also makes me happy because it is good for the Carlton Football Club.

So I'm doubly happy, I'm absolutely positive that JR has put in 100%, there is no doubt about that, but I am happy he has been dropped at the same time, very happy, because I think it is good for the Carlton Football Club.

Finally, Finally, Finally gone for a bit of run from defence and a lot more ball winning ability.

Disappointed Austin out, would of dropped Setanta instead as they can both play fwd or back and Aussie is the future.

Disappointed Grigg in ahead of Anderson or even Bannister. Form obviously doesn't mean much and Grigg looks short of a run.

Having said that one of the more balanced sides we have picked all year.

Austin's exclusion is purely to balance the team. We regularly get exposed for height in defence against Brisbane, Setanta brings that.

Austin doesn't have Jamo's closing speed and his form was no better than Thornton or Bower's. Fisher kicked a bag last week and met what I would deem his KPIs with flying colours. Austin was holding a lower class of player, and while performing well, all this meant he was surplus. Thems the breaks.

We should obliterate them in the ruck. Mitch Clark had a field day against McIntosh, who is clearly feeling the pinch from Laidley's persistence in using Hale as a permanent forward. Goldstein is another year away at least. Kreuzer and Hampson will give him no time to rest.

Disappointed for Austin, but really happy with these changes. If we're feeling good about the remaining back three to do the job, might get to see Fisher in the Wiggins role and Setanta/Kreuzer/Hampson busting packs. If not, there's always Grigg or Carrots. Flexibility, and run!

Good side IMO...personally would have omitted Setanta and kept Austin in, but selection all about match-ups this week.

It's amazing how much more balanced the team looks with Setanta, Grigg, Scotland, Houlihan, and Carrazzo in the team.

Locking away an assett is plain ridiculous. I wont say what I really think about those who made the Bjelke-Peterson type decisons...or was it the Chinese Censorship Commission which made the decision?

TC has been grossly devalued by closing down the Players thread; the real differentiator between Club public forums. Not enough thought gone into the decision. Yeah some thought, but not balanced.

TC is now a forum which reflects the voice of the moderator.

Heard of democracy? It's the opposite of dictatorship.

I feel very strongly about this, not only because it's the antithesis of a public forum and freedom of speech, but because the forum is so now thin in Carlton content and unless you want to focus on movies, music and non footy related threads...well it's thin. If that's what the Moderators wanted to attract, then it should be renamed to Talking Moderators who barrack for Carlton.

DEMOCRACY RULES everyone
