The match reveiw panel yesterday assessed Cousins' clash with Fremantle's Byron Schammer in the last quarter at Subiaco after the incident was referred by an umpire. But the panel decided not to take any further action due to insufficient video evidence.

+1

Did the MRP even describe the alleged incident?

On Robbo, I really think his position in future is as a tough on-baller pushing forward. He gets into trouble way too often on the back flank with overconfidence, lack of pace and poor decision making.

I like the way Robbo plays he just needs to mature and get a bit wiser, he might lack a yard but he makes up for that with effort and persistance. The brave things he does are the ones that win Grand Finals....

That probably means he is out for 2 games + the bye. :banghead:

And the same could be said of Bower in his first season or two.

People around here seem to think that once a player is recruited, that they aren't going to improve

He was quietly confident he'd be cleared this morning once told there would be an appeal. As for Kerr - he's 1 match ban was upheld this evening. Not sure I necessarily agree, but makes Geelong's weekend easier without him.

Okaaaayyy....I'll rephrase it for you. We don't need an on-the-slow-side "running" half back. We do need a tough, brave, hardnut ball-winner/ extractor / defensive stopper in the Ling/Sewell vein in the middle, and if he can spend time as a bullocking half forward who can take a big mark, kick a goal, link up pretty well and help keep the ball in the 50 I'll be very happy.

He has a fair way to go to become that player too, mate - hence the yellow word above. I've noticed attributes that should make him a valuable midfielder in time - quick reaction time, aggression, clean and quick hands, creative instincts, supertough. He needs a bit more meat on him yet before he can do too much of that.

BTW, I never saw Bower as being overconfident and slow in his early days, but that's just me nitpicking.

Any suspension handed to Kerr should also be handed to that scumbag umpire who decided that Murph was play acting when he was rolling around on the ground trying to get air into his lungs.

Mitch could still use the week off.

Not sure how this craparse chooklotto works, but (ignoring that he is now available) for the future, is getting off but having a reprimand and 93 points better than taking the week and wiping the 93 points but having a GUILTY on his record?

It means he's still eligible for the NRS

But without the benefit of video footage how can the panel argue that he has 93 pts hanging over his head when there is no footage?

The MRP is consistently inconsistent.
