Yeah can't remember a season where the level of mediocrity runs so deep.

Still, if we keep ourselves 5th, we won't have to face geelong til the prelim

still haven't played geelong or stkilda...

so essentially we've got to win 7 more times in 10 games for a guaranteed finals appearance. :yikes:

Carlton is the ONLY team not to have played either Geelong or St Kilda. We also easily have the 3rd best %.

Connect the dots...

12 to go, here they are; (in BOLD game I think we "should or need" to win)

BRISBANE LIONS in Bris
ST KILDA
Essendon*
FREMANTLE in WA
RICHMOND
SYDNEY SWANS
COLLINGWOOD
NORTH MELBOURNE
GEELONG
PORT ADELAIDE in SA
MELBOURNE
ADELAIDE

We must win at least one game interstate. Which has been a massive problem for us all year.

If we don't win in the next two weeks, well really vs Brisbane, we could be in around 10 or 11th position and look out of contention. If you bet, that's a great time to get on us to make the 8 if you think like me and we can go on a run winning maybe 6 in a row.

Warnock could be a massive "in" if he can get on the park in the next month or so. Free's up Kruz and allows Hampson to rotate off the bench.

Some of the games I haven't marked down are not without hope (ie next week and Port at AMMI).

Fingers crossed!

I notice Geelong and St Kilda have the highest percentages.

Maybe thats because they haven't played each other or us

You make a very good point. That said, the longer the season gets the less the percentage alters. I'm pretty confident our percentage will be superior to that of any other clubs that are equal on points with us come seasons end.

In simple terms ...... as it stands today .......

We're 5th on the ladder
We've beaten 2 teams in the top 4
We haven't played the other two

We'll leave it there

WIN.....BRISBANE LIONS in Bris.........Scotland, Grigg back
LOSS...ST KILDA........but never know, we can come out with all guns blazing last game before break
WIN.....Essendon*....Redemption....Carrazzo back
WIN.....FREMANTLE in WA.......Redemption Warnock resumes in the Ants
WIN.....RICHMOND...Walker resumes in the Ants
WIN.....SYDNEY SWANS
WIN.....COLLINGWOOD...bunny.... Warnock plays, Kreuzer CHF
WIN.....NORTH MELBOURNE........tough game, we owe them...knock them out of finals race
LOSS....GEELONG....never know it's a finals practise game...players hungry. Match up well.......Walker plays
WIN......PORT ADELAIDE in SA.......learned a lot about the ground from the Crows game.
WIN......MELBOURNE....full trial for finals unleashed
WIN......ADELAIDE Redemption at home. Finals rehearsal

Probably beat Saints and Cats and lose against Demons, Tigers and Freo

We finish 4th with 13 wins or 12 wins and greater percentage.

WE know we should be 3rd now barring some tactical and form issues in the forwardline which are now gone.

BOOK you tickets NOW

Enjoy the opportunity to sit up the front end for a change.
Being in the 8 sure beats hanging around the bottom of the ladder like 2 years ago.
