Any reliable information/reports on it?

Kade SImpson was on SEN thins morning and said Scottland "started running running on tuesday and should train today"

Those comments by Simmo don't really tell us much, typically running is part of the rehab when you suffer hamstring injuries, albeit at a reduced pace.

Fisher and Irish are definates to play this week

Setanta & Fish in this week?
Stevo has a sore neck?
Fev has issues?

Wow, what a well-placed source.

Not much really. KB fired off some nothing questions really and Simmo toed the company line of course

Things he said.....

Said that they got the game plan wrong, they rolled to far up the ground.
Krooze is a gun. second year and is our number ruckman and doing it with style
Said he worked on his fitness to run in the middle
Fev is finding the ball but not converting
Called Betts a superstar and said he is the best in the league at reading the crumb and hits the pack with such pace
Scottland is ok and trained tuesday and will today
Said Fisher was BOG saturday and has earned hi spot this week (god hope not)

thats all i can think of

I reckon Betts can be used in the middle more.
Hes such a remarkable player. He has lightning reflexes and great hands and yet we play him in the dead spots too much...

To state the obvious - I really expect to see Fish play for his life.

I expect that his kicking has to of improved otherwise he has wasted his and our time. He should have been using the last 9 weeks (2 years) to ensure he can do all of this to force his way back into the team. He has an opportunity now to get back in, if he he is gone.

Gee I hope I am right

I have been saying that for a long while and why I get frustrated with him not developing his fitness base further.

He reads the ball well, is quick and a very good kick which is something which we lack. If he could spend 10 minutes a qtr on the ball with Judd, Murphy or Gibbs spending time in the FP that would really make a difference.

yeah im also confused why Gibbs hasn't had a run in the forward line.. his form hasn't been that great so maybe that would help a touch.

When Betts is in the middle, who is crumbing the ball.

everyone acknowledges that betts is one of the best in the business as a small forward, we have an elite midfield without his presence, what is it that you want from him?

Surely he is much more dangerous in the forward line.

I hate seeing him wear himself out in the middle and not being effective when he goes back to the forward line.

Not every small, quick player needs to be in the midfield.

His defensive pressure on the forward line is fantastic, when he goes into the middle we miss that.

Yep. Would just like to think Ratts could show some lateral thinking. We have a lot of good players but we are very easy to pick apart. Be nice to see him try something. You just never know.

Betts is a better player and we're a better team when he can spend 1/4 of the game in the action and mixing it up as a leading forward. He's done it well in the past - still have a query over whether he's fully fit with his knee.

Not quite following you mate.............. Nothing other than that he has moved out and Banno is building a house in Strathmore so he had to move out some time.

I'm just posting what i was told by him and what's happening around the club. He has also told me a few other things that are around the joint but i don't want to post them as they are private.
