Well i'm flying over from perth for this one

hoping for a much better effort from the boys than todays debacle

dunno what to do about selections

would like grigg to come in

hope waite is ok

russell hadley armfield and wiggins would be clinging to their spots in the team for dear life

in armfields defence he at least runs and looks to take the game on - just fumbles and turns it over a lot

If we can't utterly destroy a 'rebuilding' (ie tanking) WC on our own dung heap, this place will be the next Hiroshima.

Oh no. You see, this week was our 'wake up call'. So next week we'll come out firing and squash easy opposition, get cocky, and then have another 'wake up call' the week after, and so forth. The universe has a way of restoring order amidst chaos.

But that doesn't explain 5 losses in the past 7 games....

Regardless of what they do tonight, they'll be licking their lips after what we dished up today.

Was contemplating coming over from Perth too. Not going to waste my money.

Because some have been 'wake up calls' and others have been 'gosh we were unlucky' and 'we lost but @#$%&! I'm proud of them'.

I can only hope that one of these days we get to hear "We lost, we're pissed off and we won't let this shit happen again"

Lucky for Judd he used to play for WCE and should have a blinder against his old side. He was atrocious today and would be fortunate to hold his spot after that performance.

In Juddy's defence though I'm sure he had about 4 crows players hanging off him every time he went near it, with little to no support from those around him. Would I be right?

Would we dare say Judd was carrying an injury today.......

Does that mean Kennedy is going to have a blinder as well??

Is Kennedy back?

I hope he is. Haven't seen him at all this year.

Judd just played bad. A few kicks when he was in the clear were way off the mark. He may be injured. NO EXCUSES.

Another one like that and it's goodnight Irene I'm afraid. He'd look good as a bullant.

We will destroy THE COASTERS - because we will play with intensity and as a reaction against this week - however the next week when it gets a little tough we have to play outside our comfort zone in Brisbane -we will be 4 goals down in the first quarter and that will be it -mentally very soft - got ahead of themselves -every second week let supporters down by being weak mentally and lack thirst for a contest that is difficult

If today showed us anything it was that we have a number of players that aren't up to AFL level when consistent pressure is applied. We have had a soft draw and haven't beaten much.

If we are serious changes need to be made to our side and our structure:

Ins: Scotland Anderson Garlett Bannister Grigg (a combination of body size, run, speed and disposal improvement)
Out: Waite (inj) Wiggins Russell Hadley Armfield

B: Browne Bower Jamison
HB: Scotland Austin Anderson
C: Simpson Gibbs Stevens
HF: Yarran Thornton Betts
F: Fevola Kruezer Garlett
Foll: Hampson Judd Murphy
Int: Robinson Joseph Grigg Bannister
Emerg: Ellard Carrazzo Hartlett

Adds some excitement.
More run from defence.
A fwd line that is VERY hard to match up on and has great defensive pressure.
Some more bulk with Bannister
More midfield rotations with Robinson, Grigg, Bannister & Joseph added to Judd, Murphy, Gibbs, Stevens, Betts.
Kruezer in the square and Fev leading. Hampson to do bulk of ruckwork. Kruezer inside 50.
Thornton as leading CHF. Austin CHB on Kennedy.
Speed, run and carry.

Please Please not Houlihan, Fisher or Setanta. We need to move forward.

Ratts, let these guys run and carry and back themselves. Be proactive not reactive!

Just a couple of things here...one WE are the team re-building....lets not forget how many premiership players they still have in that side. And two... who says they are tanking??? We will struggle against them. They have a very good mix of experience and youth at the moment.

With Bannister? We already have Joseph and Jamison playing full negating roles, not sure we can afford another.

Dropping Army?

The only guy willing to 'run and carry' (the buzz term in AFL at the moment), break some lines and have a real dip at it and you guys want to drop him?

Geez, if the rest of the side matched his intensity and willingness to run and tackle tody we;d have won easily.

Agree, the drop Armfield and drop Russell campaigns are becoming tiresome. Dare I say it, far from our worst!

Add to that he hasn't even played 20 games.

Nuts.
