Where are the Carlton Bays? near the Carlton Cheer Squad? Doesn't seem like there is many seats left on Ticketmaster.....

Sitting behind the Crows Cheersquad and hanging shit does sound like fun.....

Bays 118/119. refer to the link.

The game will be close to a sellout, as there are a megaload of Carlton people over here who flock to the game.

could not get the number of seat I wanted in these bays

BUT got them in Bay 120

No doubt I will be bringing up how great the father/son rule is, just like I did last year, the 98 year old ladies love it!

We should of knocked them off last year. They play similiar to Sydney, thus why we struggle with thme. They will look to play similiar style, hard at it in close and causing lots of stoppages. Probably won;t be the prettiest of games as sjabc said, the Crows are under the pump big time.

I'm not usually one to blame the umpires for a loss; sure I'll complain about them, but ultimately it usually comes down to the 22 we send out there.

The corresponding match last year however, we were umpired out of the game. That loss is 100% on their shoulders.

A mate (a neutral, neither Blues nor Crows fan) and I got so sick of it, we actually started barracking for the umpires. UMPIRES! clap clap clap, UMPIRES! clap clap clap

Even the Crows fans around us didn't dispute the poor form of the umpires.

Hopefully Bock will miss....I notice that he is currently on the injury list as "test" for this week.
Glad that Shirley won't be playing as he quelled Judd on both occasions last year.
Must say I'm worried that the Crows are supposedly getting a hard time from the media in Adelaide and that McLeod is playing his record breaking match. They will no doubt be fired up for this one!
Last week they were very good against Brisbane in the first half however were just wasteful in front of goal.

On the other hand we are a stronger and more settled unit than the one that missed out at AAMI last year.

Should be a close match and I can't see either team getting on top.

I remember last year as if it was yesterday.

Dominated the last quarter, ran all over the Crows (with the ferals around me shutting up half way through the final quarter) but could not bury them when it counted

A winnable game this one, but as mentioned, the Crows may be out for blood this week after last week's debacle

Go Baggers!

Got to within 8 pts last year and had plenty of chances to win. No Bower that game hurt us (read Moran 4 goals v Aussie).

Beat Port @ AAMI last year.

They have yet to win @ AAMI this year.

Doggies beat them 34 points last AAMI game. About our level, that mob.

Beat them there in 2004 when we were shite.

Can't beat Adelaide @ AAMI? Pfft.

no change thanks.
fantastic games from austin and hampson.
austin down back gives us some freedom for waite to go forward and should play forward.
robinson hard as they get, something that we need, skills to match.
with hampson playing well in the ruck its takes the pressure off kreuzer, like hampson forward also.
no bock or shirley this week will help.
must win game.
lots of man love for judd.[/quote]

I would never advocate man love but after last weeks game if i was in a room alone with Judd and Betts there would be a whole lotta man love going on.

I'd be like a Jack Russle Terrier on crack!

Keep it up Blue Boyz

..need to win, and win well.. ..this week is important, cos with the dogs playing geelong, and the lions playing st dilda we could very well leap-frog them both cos our percentage is better than theirs, ditto port if they lose to sydney.. ..if those 3 lose and we win we'll jump up into 3rd possie..

That's right!

But all of Moran's opponents were much shorter than him and Tippett.

Food for Thought.

Stand corrected, but it was at least 2 goals. Bower gives us more flexibility back there which will be welcome. If those big boys caused probs again, suspect Krooze or Waite are part of plan B. Carlos not mentioned at presser, so I doubt he'll be in the mix.

Our mids should dominate anyway, won't get down there.

This bit in there gives a fair idea which way they'll go:

Go a bit taller? Tells me they're playing with the idea of playing the local boy Hartlett.

we wont win and cant win...

We have not shown any signs this year that we can defeat teams away from melbourne... we played poorly against sydney and we failed badly against the Dockers...

I don't know how our boys will do this time but they need to lift up and go to the next level up...this game is worth 8 points for us becuase it will put us in a good position as we play WC next week at home and we could go 3 on the road before tackling the Saints...

You would hope we bring in another runner and not another tall.
