Jarrad, a forward, was found ravaged and devoid of confidence by Brett Ratten in 2007. He quickly took ownership of him from Denis Pagan, nutured him and watched him grow.

It quickly became clear that defence wasn't going to hold Jarrad for much longer, and in 2008, Brett made the steps to release him to his natural habitat.

One year later, Brett decided to see how Jarrad was doing as a forward. Brett was told he may not recognise the defensive aspects he had imparted on him, but Jarrad took one look at Heath Shaw and remembered instantly.

One year later, Jarrad still knew to harass and tackle!
