i dont berate carlton players, generally discuss the game with my father as its going, match ups, bad decisions, moves that should be made, what players should be doing, where they should be running etc..

encourage most of the players, especiall when i see a young kid do something good. Jospeh has been a revelation this year :) he generally gets three or four standing ovations from me every game (well done son keep up the good work) but its not for flashy shit, its what i call, football stuff, i.e. the bump on bateman to get him offside and allow him to get the ball himself, smart, or a second and third effort, or providing a shepard ... etc.. for me, to date, Joseph has been the best pick up from last seasons draft. just does everything asked from him.

i do however, fly of the handle at umpires, or when players, ones i call repeat offenders a.k.a. mitchell and the duck of the head, leading to a high contact free kick, but again it comes back to umpires.

yes they are important, but i cant believe how inconsistent they are, and we saw some prime examples during the hawks game. that is what kills me, but i dont usually start losing my cool to half way through the third quarter.

first quarter i give them the benefit, second starts to get on my nerves, but by the third, same scenarios gettin completly different outcomes from the umpires just drives me mental.

and i generally mock opposition players. most of its funny though, except milne, cant stand that little fink, probably through farmer in that mix as well, but i also clap and praise good play, by both sides.

once again, just a brillant game on saturday :)

I get very very emotionally involved. When Fev took that mark at the end of the game on Saturday, I think I nearly had a stroke.

If he had have put it through, I would definitely have had a stroke. Well, a little feel and fondle anyway.

+1 and throw in a bit of opposition fan banter and the odd constructive umpiring improvement suggestion

+1- except I don't coach; I'm too involved. And I know and accept every player is trying their absolute best.

I watch the game...and anything can happen...and does.

I don't swear in front of kids at the footy.

I must admit I get a bit emotional.

I don't like to be near cheer squads.

Apparently I'm entertaining to watch footy with according to the Shiek at CSC...I like to have a bit of fun and ham it up. I like to entertain.

I go off when we kick goals.

I watch the game unfold, check the match ups and always watch the replay to get a different perspective of the game. I like the 1%ers.

Problem with watching footy on the box in Sydney with mates is that before the final siren I'm fine, but when the siren sounds I find that I have hammered myself.

I can be foul mouthed.
I never abuse a Carlton player. { there was one exception, a recently departed pea-hearted ruckman from St.Kilda}
I enjoy a beer whist watching.
Regards Pedro.

I'm the type who loses his voice after a quarter and deafens everyone around them with his cry of Ball!.

You have to get involved and not sit there like you're at a Funeral.

I jumped out of my seat after Fev took that mark.

Or was it the roar of the crowd blowing me out of seat like a bomb had gone off?

I've never experienced a roar that loud at the G.

Not even when we've won finals and the flag in 1995. :?

Don't talk to me if we've lost to a team I hate.

Saturday's game felt like a draw and left me stunned. :|

Enjoy discussing the game with a colleague, especially if they follow the Blues! Love watching the tactics and strategy (really miss coaching!) but I must admit, not getting to watch much footy these days, I just try and soak up as much as I can when back in Melbourne.
Hope to catch up with a few more TC'ers this June/July.

I can't stand umpires and let the maggots know it, even if I am yelling from the Windsor in Paddo. They can hear.

Pretty supportive of our guys and try and hang it on the opposition. Love a good nick name. Get very excited when we play well, but that is often because of Mrs Carlton's finest drop.

Often miss alot of stuff, but once again that may be due to Mrs Carlton's influence. Watched the weekends game sober, by myself and flower me, Juddy was magnificent. Has anyone else cottoned on to his forward handpassing ie Diesel. The work is paying off.

I don't participate in the MVP threads because I can only ever nominate one or two players as our best because I don't focus on individuals when watching.

Read any of the gameday threads I've posted in, and you'll know what I'm like watching the match.

I'm pretty much the same when I'm at the ground.

Watching on TV however, I usually get pretty loud, and pretty foul mouthed.

At least 75% of the words that come out of my mouth are expletives.

hope no one is like the 2 carlton supporters sitting behind me today, bagged nearly all our players, even when they were doing the right thing, annoyed me the whole game.
