Then similar happened on the Goldie after the loss. Looks like it is some of our more senior players although some youngens were along for the ride.

Not just the players if you believe BF.

Dear Mr President, you'd never have a drink with me....or would you?

I suspect the ringleader wants to be caught, would appear he has some personal issues and is not coping so well.
It's sad really I guess to many of us he has everything in life, but like many of these troubled 'idols' he has less we know.

On another Carlton Forum, there is a picture of 2 of our players in King Street at 7.30am after the loss to Hawthorn...

Going for a jog or coming home?

I was just flicking through that particular thread as well, and the thing that I find most disturbing is that there is smoke in his hand... I guess he was just holding it for his friend... As a huge supporter of said player, I find it extremely disappointing. In fact, if it was to be proved true, I think its time to cut losses and contracts and start looking for a replacement

The Herald Sun had a snippett on Monday about a high profile Carlton player who had a big night in the Gold Coast after playing a poor game.

Let's be clear about this. They have done nothing illegal. Drinking and smoking is still legal. It may not be the best way to treat your body as a "Professional Athlete" but it's not like we need to get an injunction to stop these stories.

I guess the worst thing is that we as supporters & members expect our players to get the best out of themselves, as given the chance we would give up anything to be able to play for our beloved Blues.

Drinking while injured hinders your recovery, that is a fact. Why you would want to risk your AFL career to get plastered is beyond me. Most players drafted only play at the elite level for 3 or 4 years I remember reading. There is always a different set of rules for the 'stars', they are quite often the "characters" and go onto have careers in the media..... talking about having a frothy etc....

Just been onto BF to check this out.

Absolute disgrace. Fevola must go......NOW. I don't give a flower about the Filth game, they've got half their side out anyway. Very dissapointed with Fev, after all the crap the Club's been through. Enough is enough :hitcomputer: :banghead:

I've got everything crossed....but Hoops didn't get picked, and would have thought he'd be an IN against the Filth. Reckon Fev just maybe a "late withdrawal" on Sunday.
