This is my first post. At Gold Coast we were monstered by a big bodied mature ruckman. In our first two games which we won we had Jacobs in the ruck who at least did offer some real strength and body work. His absence due to injury has significantly harmed us as we have no ready replacement until robbie Warnock is fit. In the meantime we will struggle in the ruck

Starting to feel sorry for Warnock already and he hasn't laced up a boot yet

The expectations on a guy that has drafted in 2005 and played 21 games in 2007 / 2008 is enormous

Add Walker, Grigg, Johnson and Warnock into our starting 22 and suddenly the team looks different and those four players alone change up the dynamics and structure how we play.

Warnock rucking allows for Krooze to play forward. Fev, Waite and Krooze as our 3 talls with Yarran and Betts roaming around the 50 and Wiggo as a hit up forward.

I think Warnock, Walker, Carrazzo and Grigg's inclusion would be a huge support to the A graders who carry us week in week out (Judd, Fev, Murphy, Gibbs & Kreuzer).

Can't wait until this guy is ready to go. Hammer dominated the taps yesterday and it made all the difference. A Carlton side in a year or so with Warnock and Hammer rucking and Kruezer up forward will be awesome. Add a maturing midfield and it will be worth watching.

Indeed.

He'll make a huge difference to our overall performance.

Our mids will benefit.. Kreuzer and Hammer and Sauce will benefit ..everyones a winner.

Get him well rehab man!!

I reckon one day we might shock the football world : R Warnock, Kruezer, Judd

Just a couple on minutes looking but no one has placed any expectations on him

Hang on some of these are yours

After watching the Saints tonight made me realise how young our team is.

The Saints have big hard mature bodies and we're about 3 years away from that size and it does make a BIG difference how you play.

Grigg, Walker, Johnson and Robbo will make a hell of a difference and create plenty of drive of half back. Armfield and AJ are already taking the game on, Browne looks promising but crack into the side. Just imagine when these guys along with Gibbs, Murph and Krooze transform into men with seasoned and stronger bodies.

The new kids are on the block.........

Melvey's ideal 2010 side

FB: T-bird - Jammo - Johnson
HB: Walker - Bower - Grigg
C: Waite - Murph - Simpson
HF: Stevo - Krooze - Yarran
FF: Betts - Fevola - Wiggo
FOL: Warnock - Judd - Gibbs

Int: Army, Browne, AJ, Robbo

Em: Aussie, Hartts, Hadley, Garlett
