I can only say that since I was lied directly to my face by both JE and Wes in the days up to the take over by "carlton one" I do never again believe what they say.

Maybe it was because they didn't want the story getting out before they wanted it too - the way richard wanted it. JE told me that they had pratt lined up once before and someone wanting to bignote shot his mouth off so dick pulled out.

To prevent any premature speculation.

StKilda is doing VERY well with what they have.

I dont reckon we are...

Gilbert Gwilt Blake Jones Dawson etc are battlers
Then they had a few downhill skiers like Montagna Gram Schneider Milne that are doing what needs to be done and understand their role.
Alot of that StKilda backline is really average but the gameplan is their glue.
They understand it.. they believe in it.. and theyre succesful thus far...

StKilda are about 3 years ahead of us in terms of development. Most of their group fall into that 24-28 year/100 + games bracket. If you are comparing them to us you have rocks in your head.

bananas!!!!!

They have some good players and alot of average players.

Cazzesman it is a boys club by sheer weight of numbers.

You cant have that many blokes from the same background with many of them not having being involved in AFL coaching all ditting around a table at the same time.

Syd...leave this to the grown ups... ok????

you got nothing - piss and wind again

*edit*

Hey I'm happy with the current arrangements I like the boys club - your the one whose not you have been critical of Sticks and Ratts from day dot .

Give us alternative

You like the boys club?

Well... why do you like the boys club?
Is a boys club approach the best interest for this current day modern professional and intricate world of modern day AFL competitive football.

Try and make your argument a little bit sophisticated ....

You wanted Williams and Ratts... based on what???

Sticks didnt turn the club around... nor did Elliot.. or even just Pratt....

40 thousand members ahree hundred thousand supporters everyone around Carlton did...

Youre making it out like the Carlton football club is 4 blokes.... well if its 4 blokes why do they need the rest of us???

What the hell are you talking about???

Like at every collectve of people there are a whole range of people who all do theyre bit and create the body.

There is no Carlton Football club without everybody.... but there was a Carlton football club befor Sticks Elliot Pratt Russell JEasauletko Synbad or Sydney Blue.. as individuals...

You know that dont you??

It reads Synners, that you are currently unhappy with the state of the club, from where we have come from in just 2 short years I'd say that the club and those in their current positions are doing an outstanding job.

Admittedly we have lost a few games along the way but are you saying other coaching staff would have prevented that?

I bet you had a whole heap of TV Week posters on your walls growing up???

So the 4 or 5 million Pratt chucked in and the other couple mill he raised in one night at Raheen doesn't count - and would there be 40000 members if not for Pratt and his efforts
We know Judd wouldn't be there and there is a fair chance if things kept going the way they were the club wouldn't have been there .

Two weeks solid of everyone associated with the club telling us all he saved the club and your not convinced that the management team he left behind is good enough . Cant come to terms that the old boys went to Dick and said help us and he did

Still no alternative - not one

Listen if the club wasnt run into the ground by Elliot/Sticks etc we wouldnt need Pratt to throw in money right???

So its all about how well you run your club right???

Or no???
