normally I can't get myself to watch a bunch of egos trying to make themself look good on tv by bullying (in a very jealous way) whoever they can to mask the pity and sadness they have for themselves in real life but this week I will watch to see how Fev goes. He has carried himself well in the last few years, it will continue tonight. ;)

I'm anticipating probing an insightful questions like:

"Fev, you missed the goal on Saturday from 20m out in front of 70,000 supporters at the MCG that would have won the match for your team....

....how did that make you feel?"

If I were CEO I wouldn't allow this. I hope he goes alright, but it's Brendan and he's got lots on his plate atm.

I was impressed with him. Didn't bite at any of their usual baiting tactics, just seemed to tell it like it is. Well done Brendan.

I thought Fev was brilliant. He appeared laid back, honest and didn't get ruffled by stupid questions about being Peter Pan.

What was wrong with the Peter Pan question????? Caro was asking him how he perceives himself ... and it was interesting to see that how he perceives himself is probably a little different from how most fans perceive him.

But Hutch showed himself a clown once again.

I have to say, I reckon Fev is almost my favourite player to ever play for the blues. Kouta would be right up there but I think its Fev's down to earth personality that does it for me coupled with his on-field heroics. He is an absolute cracker.

The funniest thing was that I sat and ticked the questions posted before the show here - they asked exactly the stupid questions the posters suggested. There are not many good journos around......

I thought Fev did a great job on Footy Classifieds tonight.

He is definitely my favourite player of all time to wear the navy blue and white. He has kicked 500 odd goals through a period when the team has been at it's worst.

Everyone is talking about Flowerhead at the moment who has kicked 24 goals (Fev has 23 on one foot).

As he returns to full fitness he will start to kick big bags once again. Imagine what he could do if he had a quality side kick of the quality of Flowerhead or Buddy.

Peter Pan question was pretty stupid from Caroline Wilson.

If I was Fev I would have asked her if she was workshopping the part of one of the 3 witches in Macbeth.

Tedious, tedious Caro bashing.

Bravo, Fev. You're an absolute beauty. Now kick 12 on the weekend.

DUC, I watched it against my better judgement...I was one of the sheep that helped their ratings...(Oooh I feel soo dirty)

Fev was asked how he felt after missing - said he felt bad, players (in the showers- there's an image for you DUC) said they wouldn't have been that close if not for him - said he still felt bad.

Fev said he always kicked through the ball and goes through a 15 pace rotibne (without much momentum) so didn't really kick through.

Irish barman - said, well it's 3 years later so that's in the hands of his lawyers and managers

His playing up and being bad - (on field) said he'ld contributed every game except the Swans)..jusrt hadn't been kicking them.

All the players review each other - what people said about him was that he has to step up and maintain defensive pressure - said it's really important to him...what players/cpoaches think - thus the line about "others" opinions don't matter.

The do you think you're Peter Pan crap - Fev asked what do you mean (Fair question) - a" a child who doesn't want to grow up" - Just said no - he enjoys clowning around and having fun, but happy to have responsibility.

MAybe other stuff I've forgotten.

He presented and spoke brilliantly I thought.

On another thing...Any show that has 4 "experienced proffesionals" on it ...and the absolute stand out is Grant Thomas...is not long for this world. I'm no fan of Thomas' but really found myself thinking "Grant say something.." when the others spoke, because at least he would say something vaguely footy related.

I think this could be another reason why Fev came across like David Frost.

Anyway after Fev, flicked it over to ONE HD which had a replay of OWAAT . ...Actaully wasn't too bad..and dare I say it (ducks) Lloyd came across ok??...BUT at least they talked about the football...that stuff that happened over the weekend....

Thanks for that bill - much appreciated.

The questions asked were tabled in this thread earlier in the day - says a lot about these 'journos'/'football commentators'.

The only reason why Fev was on the show is because he has a contract with Ch 9. The show struggles to get people on it so they need to resort to getting players they have on their books to be on the show.

Tick tock tick tock.
