RIP Sir Richard.

To Jeanne and the family my condolences.

His last memory of Carlton was a great victory, I am glad he held on to see the win on Sunday.

A very sad day

RIP Mr Pratt, thank you for picking up our club and shaping it back into the one we love so much and missed for so long.

You will be missed and we are forever in your debt.

Very sad news about a man with still so much to give.......Richard ....every goal you set yourself; you more than reached and surpassed those goals.

With so much admiration for you; I would like to say....."Well done"....."Thankyou".....and importantly.....Rest in Peace.

Words can not express the debt of gratitude we owe Richard Pratt for what he has done for this football club.

My family's sincerest condolences to the Pratt Family, this past week would have been a particularly trying time.

Just heard the news- very sad and very humbled. Mr. Pratt, words will never express my everlasting gratitude for your gift to the arts, the business (and the employment of many, many people) and finally, the great CFC. You're already in the Hall of Fame- RIP. :thanks:

My heartfelt condolences to Jeanne and the Pratt family.

To all his family and friends - I wish you a long life.

I was at a function about two years ago, trying to collect $4.5m for disability housing. In the middle of it, his daughter stood up and said that on behalf of her family, they would like to donate half million dollars. There were many, many other wealthy people there but said nothing. The Pratt's were extraordinary for their generosity and Richard Pratt will always be remembered for it.

You know it's going to happen but when you hear the news you still feel your heart sink, to Mr Pratts family and friends and to everyone that feels that sinking feeling - my thoughts are with you all.

RIP
