1. Scotland - great RUN out of the backline. Great disposal. Could've surel played last 2 weeks.

2. Kroooz - Involved in everything. Freak. Beat in hitouts though

3. Russel - credit where due good first half

4. Houlihan - the houla knockers have no idea. Smooth and composed

5. Bower and AJ - great in the backline, both attacking

Waite great after first quarter quiet, Jamo frees him up. EDDIE!

CONS

1. Chris Johnson - go away! If his kicking useless he becomes utterly hopeless.

2. Our use of Chris Judd - we don;t protect him and expect him to maul the stoppages. Then in 3rd quarter we release him to run lines and he blitzes. Needs to be released!

3. Kick outs today - Poor offensively and defensively. Zone picked apart.

4. Fitness - we seem to labour in the third quarter and stop running. Has happened last 3 weeks.

5. Didn't nail em for more percentage!

Pros:
1) More pressure, more direct football.
2) Straight kicking. Amazing what a difference it makes when you don't pepper behinds.
3) Judd, Waite and Fev relatively quiet, yet the rest of the team still rose to the occasion
4) JR, Setanta, Carrots (took Gilbee out of it) and Scotland all took positive steps.
5) The #1's giving the footy world another statement about what to expect

Cons:
1) Johnson, I thought he was recruited for his kicking
2) Not following the Collingwood route, but we certainly don't seem to get the 50/50 calls as our opposition always seem to. Fev and Murph in particular are raped weekly. Teach them to dive, put them in red&black and see the difference
3) Little lapses where we let them get little runs on.
4) Too many 50s. Ratts needs to instill discipline in this group.
5) We need that ruthlessness to turn 7 goals wins into 10+ goal wins, to really be a top team.
6) Judd MUST be protected
7) Everyone going on about the trip to Perth taking its toll on the players. The Eagles and Dockers would be laughing at this.

Good to know I wasn't the only one who thought that

Pro:
*Jamo...hasn't been in a losing side this year. Frees up Thornton, Waite and Bower and is the ultimate glove.
*Seeing a game plan work and work for 4 quarters against a side who normally plays that ground pretty well.
*Kreuzer...influence on the game today can't be measured in stats.
*Carrazzo...had a role to do today and did it really well. Sacrificed his high possession game to add another string to the bow.


Con:
*I tripped on a plastic beer cup and my knee hurts.

I have said a couple of times that Stevens, Scotland and Johnson shouldn't all be selected in the same team ............... I think Johnson would have been dropped for next week even if he wasn't injured ............ Not sure who would/could be dropped next week. I want Hadley in to take on the strong Hawks midfield !!!!!!! Apart from that I don't see who could be dropped ..........

Oh and my biggest Pro for the game was JAMISON MADE IT THROUGH UNSCATHED !!!!!!!!
