Hi,

I'm here as a concerned citizen.

I've noticed something disturbing over the last few weeks and hope that some of you may join in my cause which is the STK Foundation.

For those that don't know, it is the 'Save The Kruezer Foundtion'.

A Kruezer is a very rare beast, a tall athlete that can ruck, play forward, mongrel for the ball at the bottom of packs. Anything really.

Sadly, the Kruezer is endangered.

The Kruezer is still a very young animal and has to compete against beast twice his size.

Just this year alone he has had two head injuries, round 2 and round 3, this week they gave him the headgear of the now extinct Ashman.

The club he plays for insists on playing him as first ruck, even though he is not physically ready for the position. We at the STK Foundation believe that this is short sighted thinking and may lead to the extinction of the Kruezer or reduce the Kruezer to some inferior form of animal such as the De Luca.

Please give generously so that the Kruezer might be given a week off every now and then or allowed to rest forward for an entire game.

Agree we behave as stupid as the Pies when they destroyed the talent of Fraser.

I think we are managing him very well - his time on ground isn't very high, and even when he's on he spends a fair bit of time up forward.

Time on ground has been
Rd 1 - 59%
Rd 2 - 70%
Rd 3 - 60%

Keep those stats away - they just complicate matters

Playing ruck 90% of that time.

He has copped head injuries in two of the first three weeks. They even put a helmet on him this week.

Does that not ring alarm bells?

That they are putting a helmet on him?

Protect the Kruezer.

Give him a week off. We need him for 12 years, not one week.

I'd like to see him getting 90%+ game time. Has it all, and will only get better (and benefit all) from the experience.

I doubt he'll die by being played more, be it in the ruck, up forward or as ruck rover.

I read an interesting article a long time ago, how Josh Fraser went from a no.l 1 pick and superb first / second year player to an average ruckman. The ruck is very different from other positions. You risk to burn out the young guys if you play them too much against guys twice their size. 206 would have been very handy at the moment....

He has many more positive attributes to his game than Fraser ever has.

Agree, many more, and he is about 5 kilo bigger than Fraser was at the same age.

Still has little to do with the burning out young ruckmen by playing them first ruck for too long argument. If we punish him physically at a young age too much his long term career will be effected.

Or he won't.

Has sensational beep test results. Will put on more muscle into next year. Will be a running monster marking machine throughout his career.

Should've dished it off to Gibbs though.

Love the Krueze.

That's why we at the STK Foundation would like to preserve the Krueze.

Re: STK Foundation - Please Give Generously

Give to the Kruez Foundation.

In return, Kreuz will give generously... to our midfield department. :D

I donate Cloke to the foundation for experiments. Use all parts you need and give the remaining parts to Collingwood.

I find it baffling that he's not being 'rested' in the forward 50, especially during times when Cloke is struggling. FFS, he's 6'3, is intelligent, commited and runs like the flowering wind. If Jacobs (or if Hammer and 206 come on like we hope) are holding down the middle, then get him the @#$%&! down there :banghead:
