Pros:

We dominated the first half and should have been 6 goals up at half time.

Cons:

Sydney didn't win the game - they defended a half-time lead and we simply played to their script.

Plan B is stand there with the ball like a stunned mullett then kick to a contest, poorly.

Barry Hall wasn't playing

Cons

Dumb bunch of footballers being coached poorly.

Pros
- Bower growing in confidence
- Waite and Judd
- Bullants game tomorrow. Hopefully Browne, Austin, Yarran and Hampson can put their hands up.

Cons
- Hall a late withdrawal, Goodes and McVeigh all quiet and they still won!! How can this happen?
- Hadley.....what's happened to him? Injured again?
- Cloke at CHF isn't working
- Jacobs and Joseph again getting shown up against quality opposition
- Simpson and Grigg quiet again
- Robbo struggling.....needs a rest.
- Fev's injury appears worse than we thought. Time for a rest?

Pros
I never have to watch Sydney play ever again
We have just had an absolute lesson in absolute congested football. Hopefully we'l be better for it as a team and as a group of coaches

Cons
Kicking and Decision making. I think that pretty much covers it. Should have been 30 points up 45 mins into the match.

 Round 2

It feels like a new season started last week. The Tigers and Lions games seem like a long time ago now

PROS

Judd
Betts

CONS

Hadley
Houlihan - off the pace
Stevens - a few good kicks, nothing else of value
Russell - started ok I guess
Jacobs - ineffective
Cloke - couldn't buy a mark. Slow
Fev - undisciplined and well beaten
Johnson - needs space to be effective, gets found out in close
Simpson - maintained his consistent form
Murphy - couldn't get free
Gibbs - couldn't get free, some ok work in close
Bower - was better, but not good enough
Grigg - meh sort of game
Thornton - lair
Wiggins - couldn't hold his marks and errors
Waite - dominated possession, negative hurt factor though
Robinson - no impact
Joseph - worked hard but an awful mistake hurt
Kruezer - love his efforts but ineffective today
Armfield - had a crack, I'll give him that much

I'm sure it wasn't that bad, but a lot of poor footy today

Pros
Judd, Waite and Bower get a mention. Just

Cons
Kicking for goal. As bad as we played today, we should have been in a winning position at half time.
Tackling intensity down again.
Way too many turnovers, especially the non-pressure situations.
Plan B = stand still and look stupid.
MC selections . . . time to rest a few.
Dogs and Hawks coming up.

Pros
Eddie
Judd

Armfield
Kreuz

No leadership density at all!
Poor conversion
Woeful pressure
Fev's injury
No speed through the middle

Beat his man and was a pillar in defence.
How much better do you want him to be?

Supercoach scores (Hi Deano) indicate Bower was the best player on the ground.

He marked the ball when it was bombed in and hit targets, unlike Thornton. Provided run out of defence as well.

I'll pay that. The red mist affected my judgement.

He was much better. Almost good enough :smoking:
