Outside of what we have, I don't think we'd be able to snag someone even close to being as productive as Fevola in the forward line. We're not likely to have a top 10 selection anytime soon and even if we did top key forwards aren't available every year and when they are, they are more than likely going to disappoint (Thorp, Kennedy, Gumbleton, Dowler).

We shouldn't hold our breath waiting for someone to come in and take over Fev. We can add pieces, but as for a key forward, I believe what we have will be as good as it gets.

Kreuzer is a good kick, hard worker, mobile, he could definitely be someone players look for in the forward line. If any one of Jacobs, Hampson, Warnock turn out to be a top 5 Ruckmen, there is no reason to not play Kreuzer in another area that require his services more. Add in Betts, Yarran, Cloke, Garlett, Micho, plus whoever else, then it's a competitive Forward line.

I do believe, probably like most of you, that our best team over the next 10 years will be one with Fev still in it.

Wasn't Fev pick 40 something?

Who's to say we can't find a handy forward with a late pick.

Mr. Logic says we can't.

It was 10 years ago. Fev also had issues that took 5 years iron out and another 4 for more issues to be ironed. Regardless, with the football world looking for someone who can kick straight, has speed to burn and shoulders you can fit your bum on, isn't going to drop to pick 38.

Chris Dawes pick 28
John Anthiny pick 37

just two quickies for ya...

Now we're clutching at straws. Both are unproven as key forwards over the span of a full season.

There is a chance we could land a 50-70 goal forward over the coming years, but it's a waste of time to expect it's going to happen or wait for it to happen, because in all likelihood it will not. Match winning key forwards are bloody hard to find, so don't be disappointed if we don't get another one.

And SOSOS, you would think he'd play down back

You'd have to do the research, but James Sellar needs a new club

..top class KPF's are very hard to unearth.. ..there's just not enough to go around (shitty hawks/lions hoggin' two a piece each notwithstanding).. ..sure, some teams are working towards forward structure over big forwards, but that's because those teams just don't have the KPF's (or rather, not good ones).. ..there will always be room for KPF's, especially with the new rules limiting the actions of KPB's.. ..we've still got plenty of yrs left in Fev i think, to go about addressing the future concern.. ..possible free agency would definately help, otherwise we do what we usually do.. ..and 'buy in' a KPF star from another team..

I was interested in him last season as a target, doubt he will be at Adelaide next year with the emergence of Taylor Walker.

Hartlett. It's time to push him closer to goal.

As opposed to pushing him to the same playing ground as the rest of the team.

Myles Pitt. Stingrays forward. Has kicked 5 and 4 in the first 2 rounds and impressed me last year. Not sure where he would sit in the order right now but it's early days.

He's a good Sorrento boy is Myles...in fact about 3 other Sorrento boys are in the Stingrays.
Good breeding ground.....watch out for the Hallahan's...guns!
