Russell was fine for mine. I remember he stuffed up last year early in the season against Port costing two goals in the 1st... then had a hand in several goals in the 4th which contributed a huge comeback win. People make mistakes. Theres no need to drop him. shit happens. Thought he's been solid and good this season.
For mine I'd like Grigg then Stevo in.

I think the changes will be:

In: Carlos, Stevo, Grigg
Out: Jamo, Garlett, Johnson (Suspension)

Simply because he's played well enough over the past 12 months or so, to not get the axe when he has a rough day at the office. This might've happened in the Pagan-era, but certainly not now.

no. you'll be part of the club that doesn't know a flower thing.

Pardon?

sorry Donstuie, I quoted the wrong post

After watching the ants go around the guys who put their hand up for mine were Grigg, Carlos and Armfield. Stevens played like a senior player who didnt want to get injured in vfl practice match, but he should come in for the dons game, his skills will shine through with little defensive pressure.

Andrew Lovett always cuts us up, Armfield could get a call up for that if Russell and AJ aren't deemed quick enough.

Grigg straight back in, I'd have him ahead of Bower, not because Pauly B discraced himself, I think Grigg just offers greater attacking drive out of the backline against weaker opposition. If Jamo is out, Carlos should come in, LLoyd and Lucas are big blokes, need an appropriate match up.

Jeffrey needs a rest, big ask for a little bloke

I agree with that. We need to make sure we get this match up right. Joseph, Grigg or Armfield would seem to be the obvious options. Perhaps even Bannister.

He hit him in the head, accident or not, it doesn't count anymore thanks to Pugwell.

I agree with this comment because all Chris was doing was bracing himself from injury by tucking up but because he had his eyes on Selwood I have a bad feeling that under these pathetic rules he might get sighted. A player is supposed to either pull out or not protect himself

Dwayne Russell seemed pretty hopeful that he gets weeks :garthp:

he was attacking the flower ball - the bounce of the ball didnt help the contest and the contact was incidental

im serious - if thats what the game has come to and he gets suspended

im out

the umpiring and rule changes and interpretations and the MRP these first 2 rounds have been appalling

Absolutely awful rule - no way in hell should he go for that

Setanta has to be a guaranteed in. From what I've heard he's been killing them in the ressies and has earned back the respect of teammates and officials, and if he wants to dispense so Cloke-esque justice to Matty Lloyd I won't complain ;)

Setanta in for Jamison (Doc Larking says he could be out for the season), and Johnson will get suspended, he made high contact and Selwood went off the field injured and is listed in the injuries. Stevens is an automatic selection and Grigg has to come in for maybe Scotland.

I don't think we can bring Setanta in based on the role Lloyd has been playing.

He went goalless again today. He hardly plays at full forward anymore. Roams up the ground to make them less predictable.

They may take advantage of our weakened defence and play Lloyd there, tying up a defender.
