Rich, Robbo or Cheney.

I'll go with our man.

It'll be between Rich and Robbo this year.

Rich will get the nod. He played really well, and is already a bit of a darling in the media given how high everyone thinks he should've gone.

Robbo robbed IMHO. He even outscored Rich in SuperCoach by about 18 points.

Robbo was awesome thursday night but i'd have to say Rich deserved the nod.

Lets hope Robbo puts in another performance satday to earn himself a nomination

DId anyone watch Hurley play on Sunday. He was the most composed player on the ground and he is only 17 or 18.

Dont know about anyone else but I am getting 4 on the THE SANDSTRŐM-HARTWELL meter.

How the Rising Star Committee could rate Rich's ring around the rosy possession collection type of game over Robinson's beggars belief.

Come on, Rich was outstanding Agro. And how satisfying will it be for Robbo to get his nomination against Rich this Saturday?

Typical AFL. Higher pick gets looked after as per usual. :banghead:
Must look after the system.
Rich was good but Robinson was better and by a bit.

LOOK AT THOSE HANDS

He won't even be able to hold the trophy with out a really awkward two-handed grip... how can you give it to him??

He has no wrists!

It's like the arm version of cankles. Arm Cankles. Arsts? Wrarms?

My point was it was relatively easier for Rich to rack of the possessions with the style of game that the Lions played in Round 1 - whereas Robinson's tackling, goalkicking when needed and contested possession when required made it a more impactful debut for a 1st gamer.

If Robinson wins a Rising Star Nomination this Saturday I'm tipping that Carlton will have beaten Brisbane.

What's that saying again?

He won a good bit of hard ball and showed very clean hands considering how tiny they are, and his kicking was magnificent.

Can't deny him this one Agro.

for all those who to get down on their knees for rich, you have got to be kidding yourselves. Robbo's game on Thursday night was unbelievable for a debut. Rich was good, but when your team farts around with the ball like Brisbane did on Saturday night, its pretty easy to rack up meaningless touches. He had maybe 6 really decisive kicks. If they try that shit on Saturday night, we are going to smash them. rising star is a load shit. Hurley will get it next week. Robbo will end up getting it about mid year and it will be after some bullshit game where he barely has an influence.

Better stop the thread there then as The Cranny is able to see into the future.
