Would you believe I had #10 when Brad Shine went to the club. We are related though so I was just doing the right thing by the family!

It's his jumper. Let him have the number he wants on it. Otherwise you risk the old, "You've been dominating me all my life. Remember when I wanted #12 on my jumper and you made me put (insert number)?

There are so many to choose from:-

37 Harmes
7 Johnston, Ratten
2 Nicholls, Williams

etc etc..

I reckon put the best numbers in a hat and let him draw it out of the hat... hopefully he gets 37...Harmes.

Just corrected for accuracy

On a slightly different note, how does one buy a jumper with player no. online ?

The only options seem to be standard jumper or no. 5.

Coming up to his 5th Birthday and needs a new Carlton Jumper - he wants a sleeveless which his grandmother is having conniptions over- but I digress.

Cutting to the chase he wants number 12 on his jumper because he "wants to have one of the new players"

I an slightly uncomfortable with this and I am trying to push for the 'safer' options of 5, 4, 25, 8.

Can I trust that a number 12 will be a good investment for the future wearing of the jumper to games.

Does anyone have any horror stories about getting a number that turned out to be a bit embarrassing or didn't live up to the promise?

Not a horror story by any means but one where my son had a certain number for 2 years, cried when the player was traded but the tears turned to tears of joy when the nymber was re-assigned. Needless to say he kept it!

Definitely makes me a bit sad. Thinking about how much he loved the Blues. Ah well. Judd is ok
