THere was some nice skill on display at times for sure..particularly some of Eddies efforts to chase down and steal possession.

The one that really got the fists pumping was Waite's bomb from outside 50. My nerves were noticeably calmer after that.

This type of slight is alien in the more cultured part of the world - Walsh. Its up there with mad dogs, Englishmen and the midday sun!

When Judd went for goal and Fev kicked the goal out of mid air soccer style .. brilliant coordination to wait for the right time to get his foot on the ball.

Also, Mitch Robinsons goal on the boundary line, I think that was the making of a very very fine player for us ... can't believe he went down to pick 40

All the carlton ones without doubt but I also loved when Richo banged it in from 50 in the third quarter, decided it was going through, pumped his fists and started run off and gee his boys up with a big "come onnnnnnn" then turn around and discover he'd hit the post.

It was showtime at the MCG last night with so many highlights.
