Even contribution all round
Good to very good contributions from our first gamers

Cons
Lost a bit of intensity in the 2nd quarter
Simmo's kicking
There's 7 games left this round to steal our limelight!

Ratts picked a team with a game plan in mind and it worked.
We won the hitouts 44 - 23.
We won the tackle count 82 - 54.
The whole team contributed (only players with less than 10 possies were Jacobs and Jamison both of whom played their role anyway).
4 great debuts.

THEY KNOW WE'RE COMING ... talking about Ben will allow them to sleep at night, instead of worrying about the Navy Blue tidal wave that is about to unleash its fury on the AFL!

That's a pro in my books, we have Brisbane next week, not 6 months break.

Other Pros:

Everyone.
Hadley brilliant
JR Goal
Murphy Goal
Murphy Handball to Betts for a Goal
Judd Goals
Betts Goals
Sauce and Kreuzer dominating the ruck contests
Our ball usage for most of the game
Our tackling around the packs
Robbo's debut
AJ's tag on Brown
Some serious talent not playing
Wiggins Mark
I wasn't happy leading by 40pts :yikes:

Cons:

Wiggins kicking for goal
We didn't win by 100

Pros
- Robinson adds plenty.
- ditto Hadley. In the first quarter and a half when the heat was on he was very good.
- kicking a big score despite Fev only bagging 2 goals.
- Stevens, Grigg and Walker to come back in the side.
- no apparent injuries or suspensions (Simpson will be OK)

Cons
- Richmond were so bad it is hard to accurately guage where we're at. (Regardless I'd be surprised if we don't play finals this year)
- loved Wiggins game however he needs to convert......similar with Russell missing the lot under no pressure in the 2nd quarter.

Pro:

we played 4 quarters and kept extending the lead.
Waite in the first half when the game needed to be won
Gibbs, Murphy and Judd for 4 quarters
The 5 new blue boys, kept the pressure on all game
Eddie :thanks:
Caroline Wilson already starting her campaign to get rid of Terry

Cons

Wiggos kicking for goal
Simmo's kicking tonight, well below par for him he is usually very reliable.

PROS Put simply it was our run. Cordy has got the boys seriously fit and with our added depth we now have a midfield that doesn't seem to lose it's bite when the A graders come off for a spell.
Was also lovely to see Harves counselling the younger guys along the boundary line as they came off.
Jazzy Jeff Garlett is a gem, Eddie was dazzling, Mitch was seriously impressive and The Chief is just a standout bloke. HONEST, TOUGH and UNFORGIVING. Judd, Murph, Gibbs were brilliant but at the end of the day we really truly love blokes like The Chief because he is no frills and gives his all. He was BOG in my book.
Sidenote:::::: Is it just me or did some of Matty K's efforts tonight send shivers down your spine? His attack on the contest is extraordinary. I've been thinking that Gibbs may be the best of the Numero unos but tonight I reckon Matty's second and thrird efforts wree brilliant. Go Matty.

And the final PRO...after 8 years living in Sydney we returned last winter to Melbourne. I went to as many matches as I could but still could not jag a win until now. The last time I saw the Blues win live was the day Justin Davies kicked 4 or 5 to down the Pies. The G was still under renovation.

I AM SO @#$%&! HAPPY TONIGHT

Go BLUES

But I want them to worry. I want them to be shitting their pants in fear :(

Pros: Quite simply, too many to name. I couldn't have asked for anything more, especially given my nervousness when the team was selected.

Cons: Would've loved to crack the ton. Also, sometimes they made us look better than we actually were.
