FFS I want to know what's going on now. Surely someone has some inside info. I know I shouldn't buy into cheap talk from the likes of Lyon and Billy, but I just want to know for sure. I think I'll watch the Juddy interview again for reassurance

He'll most likely play, but that doesn't mean he isn't hurt. Half these guys are carrying something most of the time. It's a tough game, this afl.

What Lyon said does worry me, however I suspect so long as it's not a serious (LT) sort of injury, he'll play, just he won't be tip top.

But Fev on one leg is still better than Hartlett.

Especially given that Hartlett is usually on one leg as well.

a bit of tape pushing more skin (padding) to his heel should do the trick.

....unless its not a bruised heel.

Actually was confirmed by both Brownless and Watson that it was a $hit stir directed at Maher.

Just saw the boys training on the news. Showed a few of the drills and fev was OFF his crutches, taking part in training and began the handballing exercise with juddy. Simmo was interviewed and said hell be right to take part and that itd take something more than a bruised heel to keep fev out of the side. So hopefully good news!

Also showed grigg training and that he should also take part on thursday.

All in all i was happy to see this on the news considering i live in dudlaide ahah

Sorry to burst your bubble but that news report was fairly misleading. Grigg only did the warm-up drill with the main group then left and did some running on his own.Grigg at this stage is 50/50 chance of playing. Fev was in the rehab group for about half an hour doing handball drills then went for a swim. Fairly sure he wasn't handballing with Juddy because they were in seperate groups.

Hopefully both boys get up

Im expecting both grigga and fev to play.

If the club was overly concerned with griggys hamstring they would have made him sit out completely. Fev should get up, got the boot on alright and seemed focus.

We are just lulling them into a false sense of security like the second game against Ninthmond last year!

After beating us in the first game we came up against them coming off some good form and we did not have Juddy and everyone thought they would kill us! They thought that too and were as flat as a poo carters hat for most of the game, however our boys were in the Zone and won well against the odds.

Ratts has got Fev drumming up the sme scenario.....
We are just letting Fev ham it up a bit, he would enjoy doing it! He will hopefullly come out all guns blazing and kick a bag, while we jump them and have a good win!

Sounds like a totally feasible scenario/situation...doesn't it?

R14 last year, no Judd, no Bower, no Hadley, no Armfield, no Yarran, no Johnson, no Robbo, no Jacobs, no Garlett!

Kreuz/Cloke rucked against Simmonds/Pattison ... Simmonds had a field day.

The following players got a game: Setanta, Bentick, Edwards, Anderson, Wiggins, Browne.

We'll be missing Stevo (who starred) and Carrazz (who also played great on Brown) ... even if Fev and Grigga didnt play, we'd still give them a spanking.

I reckon Ratts would have learnt from last year and wont take half fit players into this one.

Play it safe ratts and only play those fit and ready to go..............but also play fev because at worst he will be a great decoy.

Seems like it's no worse than bruising ie., no fracture. So all is good from that perspective.
