Hey!

Where have you been?

Had a sook after I got wrongfully banned last year and decided to take extended leave. Was waiting for the 'Bring Back TheGame' rally but it didn't happen so I built a bridge.

Take a leaf out of my book son keep posting - and just sook as well.

Its very cathartic.

He's contesting it.

I'm surprised it hadn't been mentioned earlier, I heard that on the 9am ABC radio news here in Sydney.

Having just seen the vision, surely the question is why isn't the Freo player being booked for the round house retaliatory punch???

now we make a big fuss out of how his opponent wasn't injured and that it was in play and that it wasn't high, then we appeal with the media behind us warning that the game is getting soft.....right? right?

yeah right..........

If he had have run off the opponent it would have supported him more, but the fact that he didn't move can't have helped. Still, this sort of thing happens all the time, you can do something 10 times worse in a Grand Final and not even get reported. mitchell 'cough' mitchell.

I think he will get off. If you look at the footage it was an open hand shove to Subans stomach NO PUNCH

I don't see what Stevo did any worser than a jumper punch

Can you give us this week's Powerball numbers as well, you are on a streak.

Open hand clearly IMO but don't underestimate what the heel of the hand can do and I dare say that's what Stevens struck him with. Either way, it was a sucker punch and the AFL don't look too kindly upon that. Stupid selfish stuff from a player that will never be a leader of our club in my eyes anyway. Imagine Brendan Fevola had done the same thing. He'd be hung, drawn and quartered by many on here.

Pretty Selfish to bring up a child with disabillities that isn't yours or your partners??
Pretty selfish not telling your teammates about the death threats you had been receiving all year so it didn't disrupt there season??
Go down to the club and ask Gibbs, Murphy, Grigg, Ellard, Simpson, Anderson, Russell, Fev, Walker, Betts, Houla, Jamo, Waite, Kruezer, Judd, Carrazzo and all the first year players if they think STEVO is SELFISH or not a LEADER.............
You talk about if FEV had have done something similar, yet your the first on here to bag or hang Stevo for anything he does.
He is not in the same class as Judd is with leadership skills and playing ability, but very few if any are!
I just hate it when people who have never met these guys just continually post crap about them and get personal.
As a footballer it's open slather but don't judge or make passing comments on someone outside of the arena if you don't know him.
You stupid vendetta against Nick is ridiculous.

This is a forum and I have my right to comment on this incident just like anyone else.

Post all the emotional drivel you want, it doesn't change the fact that what he did was STUPID and SELFISH and LACKED LEADERSHIP.

Stupid -- He had points hanging over him from last year so even a little incident was going to cost him.

Selfish -- He's cost the side by being mentally soft and giving in to the need to whack his opponent.

Lack of Leadership -- He's supposed to be setting an example, something he fails to do time and time again out on the field.

It's clear as day, do you have a problem with admitting he stuffed up? If yes, then you have issues, if not, I really don't see how you can criticise me.
