Someone told me that the players consider Stevens their spiritual leader as they can relate to him more and feel he is one of the boys happy to have a drink with them - mmm not sure if that is a good or bad thing.

He's the last player with a link to the past, i'm not surprised. Everyone likes the pot and parma meal deal.
