Ch 7 Perth reports that the AFL will investigate 3 "off camera" incidents with Carlton alleged to of targeted the Dockers youth

Slow news day, even for this amateur organisation. Good luck with that. You and the AFL can go f*** yourselves.

They did say that Carlton have confirmed that Fev will be right for the Tiges.

headline " Fevola injured in Blues Loss"

An injury to star forward Brendan Fevola rounded off a miserable night for Carlton after they went down to the dockers in Bunbury last night. Fevola left the ground in crutches and will have scans today to determine the amount of damage done. He crashed heavily to the turf in a marking contest with new dockers defender Chris Tarrant late in the second term. Although he returned and kicked four goals in Carltons loss, his right ankle was swollen after the match and he now faces a race against time to be fit to play in season opener against Richmond at the MCG on thursday week

Make of it what you wll
Seems decidedly strange that a newspaper that couldn't give a continental about AFL is running a story that the dailies in Melbourne would be all over but haven't run a thing. In the papers or on their websites :?

Not to smart by the AFL to schedule the game at 4 pm in the west, why not Friday night

The AFL would have done this to us because they hate us

You think they would have swapped game to Vic if we had beaten Geelong?

Far too much of the victim mentality around here.

Agree. We sound like St Kilda.

Pre pre-season if we'd been offered 3 pre-season games at TD and one in WA we'd have snapped it up. I thought it was a bit rich of Ratten to complain, we had every opportunity to play a 4th game at TD but we chose to field our seconds.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Suban's shoulder injury occurred "off the ball and would certainly be investigated".

Did you see anything that might be a worry?

I thought it might have been, but on footy forums persecution complexes are far from unknown  .

I saw Walker and his opponent push and shove each other but nothing serious and at another point I think it was Houlihan and his man but just general pushing each other around...

Wasn't much in anything really, was there even a camera filming the game?

Well, now this game is behind us we can look forward to facing Freo in our home game in round 8...... on the Gold Coast. How far from Melbourne is that? will it be hot? :smoking:

Wiggo was charged with rough conduct. That can cover a multitude of unknown sins. It could even mean going at the ball hard and collecting an opponent who ducks his head at the last moment. He hasn't been charged with striking. A couple at the ground have suggested the Umps were over officious so maybe this was just part of the vibe.

Keogh have you seen the footage of the supposed incident?

Wiggo is not the sort of player who plays the man. He goes hard at the ball, always.

If you haven't seen the incident perhaps he deserves the benefit of the doubt before being dubbed stupid stupid stupid.

Regards Cazzesman

Wiggo isnt stupid

But Stevo is. What a flower
