Frees 14-7 hawks way. But listen for the commentator howls anytime an iffy call goes OUR way (such as the deliberate rushed behind, or Fev's supergoal)

JR one of our leaders for DT points right now, and on track for the usual 15 touch/6 tackle effort.

Thornton and Betts are the ones dragging us down right now.

Apparently it doesn't look too good for Campbell Brown at the moment. Heavily bandaged foot/ankle and on crutches.

How was Mr "He'll learn from that" trying to get Fev's supergoal changed to a normal goal.

Don't forget he works for the Hawks...trying to improve the defensive capabilities of hacks like Gilham.

Let's not forget players like Gilham only look good because of the midfield flood that the snipers have going.

The free kick count most of the time matters little as you can have good umpiring with a lopsided count simply because one team holds on too often or receive frees because they go in harder.

Today however has been poor umpiring...it's like Hale last week, you touch the key forward and they get a gift.

Exactly...Fev isn't helping himself though when he's chasing and then almost knocks out the player who just got rid of the ball. Keep an eye on it...chasing is good but don't fall to the Hawks sniping level.

Some good points there Effes.

Still, when we want everything because we know we are up against it against quality opposition, umpiring "errors" are magnified. Hawthorn appear to have been first to the footy and moving the ball quickly which can send the free kick count their way.
