Jars, I have a bump out to manage at The Open Stage but if I can end it wuick Jack and I will pop down to a chat and a drink.

My wife is pregnant too! Am I meant to be managing anything yet?
...I've double booked myself Jars...but I'll be there at the kickoff and then move on at half-time.

I know I said I'd be driving down to Melbourne that day, but we may well amend to flying down instead. Which would naturally make it obvious that we'll be there. Will have to talk to my mate and double check if he wants to go that way and hire a car for the week or not.

Good news fellas.

Got the drinks organised today and the meat should be organised soon.

Looking forward to it.

Hope it's not to late to RSVP, but I don't come on her much anymore.

I will be coming with the family and I think Pauly will be coming aswell.

Fantastic.

I'll bring along something you lent me at the last BBQ.

Was going to make it and now I can't sorry...scratch from the RSVP list. (Still inspired to chase up my old memorabilia though!)

Thanks for letting me know, hopefully this will become an annual event from now on, so plenty of opportunities in the future.

The NAB Challenge matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday. Details as follows:
Friday, February 27
St Kilda v Western Bulldogs (Visy Park, 4.30pm AEDT)
West Coast v Adelaide (Alice Springs, 7pm ACST, 7.30pm AEDT, 5.30pm AWST)

Saturday February 28
North Melbourne v Fremantle (Manuka Oval, 1pm AEDT, 11am AWST)
Melbourne v Sydney Swans (Visy Park, 1pm AEDT)

does this have any impact on our BBQ plans? heckle some swans and dees players perhaps?

still not sure if i'll be there or not, will have to play it by ear. finger crossed i can make it.

Thanks for the info Gez.

Should not make any difference, in effect it is just a practice match, it is also between two of the lower drawing teams. Would be lucky to be a few hundred people in attendance I reckon.

Would be funny if a Carlton BBQ could attract a bigger crowd than this practice match!

.... and yes, good opportunity to heckle some melbourne supporters!

No.

But the BBQ is on Saturday, so make sure you bring yourself then.

Saturday 28th, 12:30.

Picked up the burgers and snags today from the Royal Oak, Jimmy Buckley was there having a quiet drink. Nice pub.

A big thank you to everyone who attended the BBQ, it was great to have a chat to so many fellow Carlton supporters.

My apologies for the long delay with the food, the BBQ gods were not smiling on me yesterday!

A reward will soon be posted for those who find out where the Park Ranger lives and disconnect all his essential services. :smoking:
