Very satisfied with tonight.

Good skills, if a little rusty at times.

The young guys stepped up nicely.

Not complaining at all with tonight's effort.

I stuffed up by being conservative.

I thought we'd be up by 30 pts at half time and understated at 14 and thought we'd win by 7 goals and understated at 23 pts.

We actually won by 7 goals 8 behinds in normal terms (add 3 pts for 9 pointer); that's 15 shots more at goal with a few stuff ups.

I knew they were going to step up to a top 4 rating, but by jesus, I reckon we going for top 2 such the performance by our kids.

Really impressed with Jordan Russell's game tonight; he's really balanvced his whole game this year; very stable.

Very good clapping avatar...

Bring on the Dawks....they're supposedly are 2 years ahead of us....maybe....maybe not!

Actually, I lie.

One thing which detracted from the match: Channel Seven's entire commentary team should be shot. The lot of them are spacktacular mongos.

Not bad.

We now have to fit Walker, Hadley, Bannister, Fisher, Hampson, Scotland, Bentick, Browne, Warnock, Setanta, Carrazzo, Pfieffer into the side??? :smoking:

I love Garlett!

Very dapper looker, too, with that Errol Flynn-like mo and beard.

That grab on the goal line and snap over the shoulder will be on highlight reels for some time, I think.

Although the Roos forward line was non-event, I was very pleased with our backline.

Very pleased.

My favourite commentary tonight:

Quote:
Petrie went to swallow but was cut off by Cloke

What did he say CB as I was fixated on his teeth and couldn't hear?

It was a cracker wasnt it? Liked what I saw of Garlett too apart from the goals there was some excellent disposal and pace. Kudos to the recruiting staff they seem to have picked a very promising bunch in the last draft.

The club song loses something in the NAB Cup.

The song wasn't sung with much gusto.

However, to get 120-odd and to win by 9 goals in a short match is pretty good.

I liked what I saw.

Not real big on the NAB Cup, but I was very impressed with our performance tonight.
There were still a fair few mistakes and fumbling, especially in the last half.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of the new guys, I thought they all did a good job tonight.
But hey... we won by a nice margin, the boys are all looking extrememly fit (especially Fev) and I'm can't wait for round 1!

GO BLUES!!!
