Cmon boys keep the foot down. Simmo to have set shot, goal.

Blues 1 16 12 117
Roos: 0 11 4 70

Free kick to Cloke in ruck contest. Goal.

Damn it, Gibson scores a goal.

Garlett impressive play to kick a point, mark this down to watch. Damn, then Ziebel kicks a goal at the other end, T-Bird dropped mark :banghead:

FFS who let Harvey kick a goal :banghead: sack them

Another goal to Ziebel, foot on brake time.

I know it's pre-season and all, but FMD if this is what we can expect for 2009 on a regular basis I'm like Big Kev!

If the footy world didn't know Mitch Robinson before, they sure do now

You know what's missing tonight?

p12.

Sounds like it's foot off the accelerator time.

No problem. We just can't let it happen come the season proper.

Nice win in a practise game.

Thanks to sportingbet for the 6 to 1 on over 39.5.

Worked out who robinson looks like, reckon he looks a bit like woody harrelson.

Fev is built like a flowering house.

His legs are huge.

Is Krooz okay?

I think that every post for now should be prefaced with "I know it's only the preseason, but..."

A lot to like, but most importantly it was the performance of the new guys. Johnson, Garlett, Robinson, Bentley, as well as Jacobs and Joseph all contributed to the win. Yarran's injury is disappointing, but they don't seem too fussed about it. Just wish he got more of a sniff.

If there's one negative I'd draw from the game it's the last quarter. I don't know if it was just a case of taking our feet of the pedal or not, but when North changed their fwd line mainly to smalls they caught us out a few times. But what was pleasing is that the usual ploy of throwing your resting ruckman into our backline backfired in a big way.

Do they even watch the game before they do their write ups? :screwy:

Kruezer looked like a right knee to me, it twisted when he hit the ground, did not look good.

Noticed that Wiggins was wearing the flouro 'injured' top at the end of the game as well.

So Yarran, Kruezer and Wiggins possibly with injuries which is not good, hopefully all minor.

I saw Krooz's ankle twist slightly in the replay, so not sure what the problem is.

Triple M had Kreuzer rolling his right ankle, was strapped up after he went off.

One thing that the coaches have made clear is that they're taking NO chances with players' fitness. Any slight knock and you're off, I'd wager. I hope this is true in Kreuz's case.

Kreuzer missed the first two real games last year. He'll be ready for the first this year.

Yarran's was brief. He should be right for the Grand Final.

You'd want to hope so he has 7 months to get better.

I wonder what Melving thinks of Robbo after tonights hit out. The hardball get to setup Betts was impressive.
