I dont care what any one says. I am off to the Dome tonight to watch a game of footy, and I am pumped. The world is almost back to the way that I like it. Pre-season, scratch match, I could not care less. I am gunna hear the song, watch most of my boys, check out some new guys, all is good in the world! August to March is way too long for any one to take.
Go Blues, smash the pests back to Arden street!

Bill, from what I was told, Optus are the shorts sponsor this year, Visy Park the 'venue naming' sponsor now.
Anyone know why North members get in free tonight? I assume we don't get the same?

A NMFC funded initiative for those taking out a NM membership whereby they get a comp ticket to the NAB Cup game(s?).

No such luck for Blues members..

5 hours to go :thanks: -cant wait -got the blues boxers on :smoking: -sneaking off to the ground about 7 will evade SWMBO-got Digger on doing the subterfuge -meeting some Dardew relations just before that

The long summer is over and its finally here -

Good to see 7 new guys playing in the navy blue jumper - look forward always to that but also looking forward to the following

whether there is any sign of other avenues to goal other than Fev

wondering whether the good waitey or bad waitey will play - love Jarrad but often the first possession can give a hint which way this wild brumby is going to go

whether our defense can cope with a Hale and who gets first crack at him

does Arnfield play on harvey and has he learnt from pasting harvey gave him last year

if Kangas go up a gear can we also lift

Is clokey mobile enough to play CHF

Are we going to play the rolling zone

Do our midfielders work harder getting back to help the defence

Is Houla used as a forward

Do the Kangas seek to tag our midfield

Can we get more crumbing goals

Can Gibbs and Murphy become/show signs of becoming elite

Has the Cruise Missile really put on size

GO BLUES

I ate Kangaroo for dinner last night....Omen? Wrong Thread?

You know - I haven't clapped for a while - not since that Nadal drop shot in the 5th. I've missed the clapping    ...and the yelling....can't forget the yelling - can't really do that at the tennis....who's umpiring tonight?

I don't mind Eddie in his lead up forward role, perhaps give the Kangas some of their own medicine.

Houla, who I think is close to best in our side at reading the fall of the ball, can play a more traditional crumbing role, swapping with Eddie up half-forward, where their exquisite delivery will help the big boys. Neither play true centre-half forward but its options, options, option. Both can run through the middle, albeit in short bursts.

Houlihan, Eddie, Fisher, Fev, Yarran, Kreuz, Cloke, be an interesting forward line with pressure for sports and most importantly, the ability to diversify.

Although Fev is close to our barometer, he appears to have a whole lot more support than he used with the domino effect of each forward taking pressure of the next to perfom.

I cant remember where we're meant to deliver our player reviews, but I it was almost impossible to review Bower last night in front of the TV. He didnt have a lot to do and when I saw him it didn't look like he had an opponant so very difficult.

One thing I will say is I have every faith in him and I'm looking forward to him having a big season.
