Rumour has it, that a song has been written for the season, to be released at our season launch. It has been collaberated and written by former members of the Hunters and Collectors.....

It is our season assault on the 8.

Great news if the rumour is true.

When is our season launch?

Do you think Tex has a part in the song?

I know Jack Howard the former trumpet player for the Hunnas is a huge Blues fan so I reckon there should be some big horns  in the new song

Can't wait to hear it, Hunnas were one of the best live bands ever

It's a remix of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's Relax.

Probably a re-recorded version of How Blue Are You? The song from about 1990... God that was embarassing...

Quote:
Hunters and Collectors stalwart Jack Howard has released a rock anthem for Carlton as a fundraiser for the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.

He performed the song, They Know We're Coming, today at the club's Family Day at Visy Park.

Downloads of the song are available at Carlton's website, with proceeds going to the bushfire appeal.

There were also be collection points at the Family Day.

Former club president Richard Pratt, whose Visy company has already donated $250,000, will match every dollar donated at today's Family Day.

Isn't the family day tomorrow?

lol

Least $4 of it goes to the bushfire appeal...

Sounds great as a "play in the background" and "fire up the crowd" way.

What was outstanding was the little highlights package put with it at the family day and shown on the big screen when it was played....

Can't wait to download (rather than an error message )..got it emailed instead (thanks Jack  ...also hope the club will do the video on Carlton TV

I'd be more inclined to call this a pop or swing anthem. GAY! Admittedly, I have only heard the sample but the song done to midnight blue a decade ago was crunchier (which was also pretty gayP).

Gary Glitter is not the sort of person the Club should be associated with, even in a very tenuous way.
