Danny Frawley must come in to contention this week.
He rambled on Today about the marking prowess of Brad Fisher.
Apparently " Fisher is strong overhead for a 6 footer. He marks more like a 6 foot 3 player!"
None of the accompanying morons knew or cared to tell Danny that Fish is pushing 6 foot 4.

How did this brainsurgeon survive until recently as a senior coach with such ignorance of opposition players. :?

How about 3MMM ...

Only heard parts of today's call, but they included these pearlers...

- In the first quarter ... "Fisher has only scored three goals this year."

- "Simpson is looking good after coming back from injury last week."

- " ... of course Carlton suffered by being excluded from the draft for 12 months".

And I was only listening off and on for about 15 mins in total.

Surely that great orator Glen Manton must be a chance as well.
Like Sam Kekovich he tries to throw in as many obscure thoughts as possible to enhance his special comments.
Like Kekovich, his efforts fall flat.

His efforts on Saturday were amazing.
According to Glenn, the difference between the top sides and the bottom sides is voice!
Not skill, not ability.
Voice!

The top sides like West Coast are far more vocal than teams like Carlton and that is what makes them superior.

I hereby demand Marc Murphy be removed from Wayne Hughes' list.
He is quiet and non demanding.
I want Jeannie Little as number one!!!!
She cant play footy for shit but she doesnt shut up.
Whats more, she is LOUD.

This my friends will make us a top side.
Voice.
Remember, you heard it first from Mants.

At least I stood behind him in the queue to the Sydney game and a fair bit taller than me(190cm)

I think a few in here would be good if Voice was all that mattered!

A forward line of Jeannie Little, Derryn Hinch, and get Eddie Mcguire would kick you 30 goals a game...

How about Brian Taylor....
"Chris Bryan has come into the side to replace Keiran Sporn"

I would hope so. Keiran Sporn would be over 40 now and played for Essendon* and Fitzroy!

I also noted the Coburg comments CK but I noticed he was very hesitant when he was making them.

The commentary yesterday was its usual shocking self. It is suprising how unprepared some commentators are.

Hughes wins the 2005 Demidenko Award.

Hughes is right about it being the first time we have two first round picks. But we did have picks 4, 11 and 15 in 2000.
