Gday all

This may be opening a bit of a can of worms of such

What would your view be If Carlton put a cap on memberships

What i mean is becuase we have Silver memberships, through to Captains club premium gold I feel that the social club status should be capped each year

My reason for this is people shouldnt have to be made to feel like sardines if they access the full services of membership at Captains club level.. specially if they use the services of social club etc

even though going for record memberships is all good for the club I think at some point certain areas will have to be capped...

I am not saying totally close the doors to the Captains club membership level but put in place a waiting list and as soon as a member pulls out for what ever reason wether they failed to pay there fee's or wether they just do not want to renew, the next in the queue gets there chance to become a social member..

but if we do not get enough members with social club status on membership then keep it open

30 to 40 thou membership tally is fairly big membership base in my opinion but do you really want to feel like squashed sardines in an area... just think if 15 thou are captains club social members and they invite 4 friends on guest passes can you imagine how crowded it will be in the social club (obviously no one brings 4 guests every week to the footy)

I have a look at other clubs memberships to see wether we are getting value for our money etc (not that this will stop me buying my Social club membership each year)

and i noticed the Hawks Have closed there highest memberships already as it is at capacity

Cheers
OZ
